Wonderful staff and a peaceful oasis in busy Thamel. Everything was wonderful. I highly recommend the spa and we had such fun with the cooking class They arranged for us.

There was no heat in any of the rooms. If you turned the heater on, some bad polluted air comes out so I turned it off. The management basically told me that nobody uses heaters in Nepal as their excuse. The name of their hotel has "Spa" in it so I thought they would be specialized in this. The rose bath that was advertised had no hot water. They had to get a plumber on the same day to fix it and it still wasn't fixed.

People were nice and they were willing to go the extra mile to make you comfortable. Food was decent and so was room service.

We was staying in the middle of december 2023 in room 202 (3d floor). In the beginning, we reserved delux room with city view, but I found that room much more cold and smaller than the opposite side. Thanks guys on reception, that allowed select fit room for us. Our room was warm, sunny, light and big. Hot water in shower, AC with heater, wifi fast, tea pot, 2 bottles of drinking water everyday. Good breakfast from 7 to 10 in the garden. Have safe parking also and spa (we did not use). Location is great. Near tamel but in quite place, you just need cross road. Near have fruit shops and sim card office.

The facitilies are just....tired. We stayed for one night before and one night after our trek. The first room had a terrible smell of cigarette smoke despite the hotel being non smoking. The way the bathroom was laid out there was no way to keep your clothes or towel dry since the whole room became the shower, so I had to leave my towel and clothes outside the bathroom--not the greatest when a mom is sharing a room with a teenaged boy. The second room had an actual glass shower stall--but half of the glass was gone, and you could see where the glass wall used to be. So once again the entire room got soaked. Plumbing fixtures were loose, furniture was banged up and drawers wouldn't close, the elevator was out of service, and so on. There were just so many things like that.

The staff were so incredibly kind and friendly. Everyone from the desk staff to the restaurant staff were very helpful and eager to do whatever they could to assist us. The location is fantastic--it is close enough to walk into Thamel, but just outside the noisiest parts. The hotel is set just far back enough from the street that it is surprisingly quiet. For Kathmandu, anyway. The outdoor seating at the restaurants is incredibly pleasant.

They are so friendly! We arrived so late, in midnight they kept the best room for us, and carried my luggage to the top of floor.the room is on 4 floor, the I saw the whole views of Kathmandu, it’s amazing! I love the room and breakfast, breakfast is in the beautiful garden! so I continued the room for one week! Thank them so much!

The hotel staff were so friendly, the location is exactly at the centre, felt like home my whole stay. I even extended 3 more nights on the reception as I had to extend my stay.

One of the windows wouldn’t close all the way so mosquitoes could come in. With dengue that was a big concern. I switched rooms and then it was fine.
