Flock Hostel is a very modern and clean place. I enjoyed my stay and also made use of their inhouse travel agency. Nice staff, amazing rooftop terrace and nice breakfast. I'd go there again :)

My first days in Nepal were in Flock Hostel and I enjoyed it very much! Food was good in general, momo's, curry, great pizza in Asian style. Great yoghurt dish for breakfast and enough other alternatives. Nice places to sit for a meal or a drink, life music in weekends. The staff is very friendly and helpful to make your stay pleasant. I did a very nice one day trekking with sunrise view via the Flock travel desk.

The last room we stayed in seemed incomplete with half built bathroom cabinets and we had to keep the curtains closed due to looking out onto a work passage-way, so felt not private/comfortable.

We stayed several times at Flock Hostel over a 1 month period while visiting Nepal. We had 4 double rooms over this time, and 3/4 had lovely views and were very comfortable and clean. The hostel is central to Thamel area, so great for accessing this neighbourhood and the Tourist Bus Stop. The hostel kept our luggage secure when we travelled out of town. The breakfast and food/service was all very good. Flock helped organise a great tour of Kathmandu and with bus transport to Pokhara.

Very loud on Friday night due to live performances but to be expected, just hadn’t expected this after 24 hours of flights!

Amazing atmosphere. Lovely grounds and the food at the neighbouring cafe was amazing.

I like Flock Hostel, they’re professional in management. The room is clean, beautiful and comfortable. I had a wonderful experience when I stayed at here.

Just a few suggestions like: (1) putting a mirror in the 4 ladies dorm (not a detail after all, for LADIES!) (2) creating a hanging space for small, occasional washing (when you're not back from a trek with LOADS of worn clothes to send to laundry service) rather than have these small items hanging on the balcony railings on the 4th floor, with the cleaning ladies' rags (not a pretty sight!)

I stayed 12 days altogether at Flock Hostel, on 3 separate periods through April-May, in a 4 bed, 6 bed and 10 bed ladies dorm. It was like a home away from home, in a great location, very safe, with a dedicated staff, from reception to travel desk, to restaurant, cleaning and general services personnel. Kudos, and keep it up! 👏👏👏

Everything in this Hostel is like a home away from home. It’s like a secret place in the middle of chaos in Thamel. My favorite hostel in Kathmandu and by far one of the best. If I will rate this hostel on a global standard to all the hostel experience I have. I will put Flock Hostel at the number 2 spot, that’s global. Dhanyebad ❤️❤️❤️🇳🇵

We had a confirmed pick up from the airport. But no one was there so we took a taxi Breakfast starts only at 8:30. we always had to leave earlier and missed the included breakfast every day. Please start your breakfast hours earlier. Rooms on ground level are very dark and noisy. Try to get a room upstairs. Cash payment is preferred. They charge for card payment. There is also a charge for luggage storage. We had two water bottles in the room. One was already opened and used. Personal does their job without any passion.

The quality of premium whiskey brands served in the hostel resto is questionable !. Don't know, what could be the reason for them to source those ,considering the quality of food is at par with a 4* restaurant.

It might be worth installing battery powered room lights and WiFi as power outages are common in Nepal. I have seen it elsewhere.

Excellent design for a hostel, lots of activities and services available. I stayed there 3 times in my 2 weeks in Nepal. Their travel agent helped me with my flight to Mustang. The breakfast is nice, private room comfortable, the staff were helpful and always at hand. Great location. Set back from the busy roads.

The location prevents cars or SUV’s from reaching the main gate so be prepared for a short walk but it’s totally worth it

The architecture is very pleasing and the rooms are just apt for a backpacker or someone who wants to stay a few more extra days

Finding the property at night was very difficult. All the lights were out and the gate was closed so I passed the place many times trying to find it. Putting up more signs in the small alleyways would be helpful. Leaving the front lights on would also be very helpful.

Everything was perfect!

The most amazing host that I have ever seen! It is a cute hotel with amazing views in Sarangot area. Definitely worth staying and enjoying beautiful views of Pokhara and sunsets /sunrises. Stuff was extremely friendly and helpful all the time. I have left my heart in this place and definitely coming back

There was nothing not to like to be honest.

The food was really good! Lots of options! The staff was nice and accommodating. We could've stayed in the hostel for days working (we were working remotely) without going out and had everything we needed.
