Firstly the fan wasn't working and staff told me to adjust but you know why fan wasn't working because they literally trying to run the fan without electricity 😅. There was cockroach in a room and mosquito as well.

Everything was perfect except for few Felt very much of peace over there Nice bed enjoyed sleeping on it

Common thing in Nepal, water in shower is using solar heating, so it might not get very hot in the morning/evening. But only a minor issue.

Great location close to the Fewa lake, calm environment, nice chill area in the garden. Staff also helped with airport taxi drop arrangement.

This place actually do deserve to be a full pointer. For the min they charge.

Places is a sweet little junction. Clean as it could be. Bedsheets were clean for all i care. Bathroom was clean and under continuous maintenance cuz the place remains busy all the time, staff were professional, polite and humble. In a gist place is like like that auditorium that u would have in ur college where people hangout sharing. Anyone extrovert would love it here

This hostel got a laidback vibe all from the staffs and decorations. lots of spaces to enjoy and get to know your travel fella. Having a bathroom within your own dorm room is a plus. Good location within walking distance from lakeside.

Best hostel in Pokhara with the best staff which are creating this amazing welcoming vibe. here I just felt like part of the family everyone was so kind and nice. the room where clean and quiet. the outside area was just a dream so beautiful!!! see you soon!!!

Great ambience! Lots of greenery, helpful staff,great location. One of the best hostels in Pokhara,if not the best! I won't look for another place while in Pokhara!

It has been over a month since we stayed at Gaurishanker and we still cannot stop talking about much we loved it here! It's one of those places you want to keep a secret, but just can't help telling everyone about. It has such a special atmosphere - it's a cosy haven in a perfect location. Although the rooms are not modern, they are spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The communal areas for hanging out are so perfect, you'll never want to leave. The coffee they serve is the most delicious coffee ever and so reasonably priced. We didn't want to check out (but they were all booked up - you can see why) and we can't wait to return! A special mention for am/pm café across the road, where we had amazing smoothie bowls every morning and the gorgeous resident dog who is the sweetest ever!

- lack of a fan in the dorm so it was quite hot on warm nights - solar heating for the shower which means that if you shower too late, you may not get a hot shower - the female dorm has a huge window which I wasn’t used to (people from other buildings could potentially look in) but after awhile I got used to it - if you prefer quiet/early nights, do note that people do chat/play music till 11pm, 12am - there’s construction just beside the hostel that starts at 7am - would prefer a bit more security for the individual dorms.. different people walked in to check on things/take their things that they had left behind in the room

- location: near tourist bus stop (20min walk) and Lakeside - the vibes of the communal area, especially at night.. if you like the hostel experience and meeting new people, this is perfect! everyone (staff and other travellers) were all friendly - helpful staff - clean and comfortable bed. great blanket for cold nights - personal light and charging point for each bed - super good value for money

Amazing place and people. The staff: Pramod, Kuldeep, Prarthana were so so amazing, welcoming and helpful that it just made me feel good everytime I was here. They literally helped me out with everything I needed and ensured I had a good time. The ambience of the place, the central courtyard is such a lovely vibe to interact with people or work or just to enjoy your time. The room too was very neat and clean. I would surely comeback and stay here whenever I visit.

Wasn't always a lock for the lockers - you could keep valuables at reception if needed

Clean, quiet, haven close to the lake and nice cafes/restaurants. Comfy beds, helpful staff, and cosy seating areas.
