Staying at Golden Lake Hotel was an absolute delight. The warmth and care we received throughout our stay made it a truly memorable experience. What really stood out was the kindness of the staff — when we went on our trek, they kept our belongings safe and secure without us even having to worry. The owner Dinesh is very nice and helpful, we got day long tour package from them and some other services aswell, the location is amazing 2 min walk from main lake side road..we will find everything around. And the view from our room was nice. Recommend this hotel.

Clean and spotless accommodation with sincere hosts.The family that runs the business was very cordial and made me feel like home. 100% recommended if you want to feel the warmth of a home away from home with excellent views and food will definitely recommend you going there.

The property is located at North Lakeside in Pokhara and offers stunning view of the Phewa Lake and also you can see Pumdikot Mahadev temple and Peace Pagoda upon the hills on the other side of the lake. Boating spot and Annapurna cable car ropeway station is also nearby. You can access the lakeside easily as it is in walking distance. Local taxis are also available throughout the city. The hotel room is cosy and clean, bathroom was also clean and hot shower was available, wifi is strong and available throughout the premises, food is tasty and reasonably priced, service is good. The behaviour of the management and staff will make your stay more enjoyable. Dinesh ji is so friendly and helpful, he helped us with our permit for Lower Mustang and Muktinath and also arranged car for our Mustang trip and also for Dhampus. Hotel Golden Lake is definitely recommended, you will enjoy your peaceful stay in Pokhara. I shall definitely visit again! 🙂

It is 2-3 houses behind lakeside street. The pictures we looked at showed the lake to be visible from the hotel, but the houses at the front block your view of the lake. Everything else was comparatively good.

Golden Lake hotel is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a comfortable room with a great view and is affordable. We felt extremely welcomed by the staff who were helpful and kind. The location is excellent and off the Main Street so it’s not too loud. It’s less than a minute walk away from the lake and numerous lovely restaurants. We would definitely stay here again :)

This is not the owners fault. There are lots of stray dogs outside on the street. During they day they are quite but at night, there is lot of barking.

The staff was exceptional. Saved me lot of time and money with getting permits for conservation area in mustang, bus tickets etc. Not all pushy. I left my luggage to go to Mustang and they had my room ready for my return. Good central location. Everything you need - buses, excursion shops, restaurants, lake everything is a few minutes away. When I returned, the price had gone up on booking.com but the owner offered to room at the original lower price for the extra days I stayed.

Check in was smooth. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were cozy, neat and clean. Bathroom was neat. Though early morning we didnt get the desired hot water for bath.( Probably during the day it could have been better) Food served was hot and tasty. We rented the trekking equipment from them as they have their shop too. It was good quality and reasonably priced. What is worth mentioning is how warm they were when we went back to return our trekking equipment. We had almost 5 hours in Pokhara before our journey to Kathmandu. Rooms were not available that day but Dinesh was gracious enough to let us use their facilities to freshen up and truly made us feel very comfortable. The location is opposite to Phewa Lake and area is very buzzing, having many eateries around which one can explore. Definite recommend.
