The bin in my room was overflowing & didn’t look like it had been cleaned in 3-4 days. I would have rated higher if not for this.

Great value for money. Excellent location, close to Thamel and many nearby shops: Wi-Fi was strong, various seating/social areas. Beds were very comfortable & I had the best night sleep in KTM as I couldn’t hear any motorbikes at night!!! Helpful friendly staff Thank you :)

Absolutely loved my stay! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the town . The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to offer recommendations and chat. The hostel was clean and well-maintained, and the common areas were great for meeting other travelers. free breakfast, comfortable beds, organised activities. Definitely recommend for budget-friendly travelers looking for a social and welcoming atmosphere!

The food is a bit pricey but it's convenient and sweet. Just that the hot water in the washroom takes long to start flowing. But it is manageable. I hope they keep it up and don't change.

I like almost everything about this hostel. Clean washrooms, Clean rooms. Good Staff.. Nice food. Affordable. Very nice environment, less noise. There is hot water in the bathroom which is impressive.

Some noise due to construction

My experience at this hostel was well above my expectations. Above all, the staff make a very welcoming atmosphere and are willing to help at every turn. This feeds into the vibe of the place, which to me, felt very homely. Warm lighting, cozy music and friendly staff really helped create a nice space where it became a no brainer for me to extend my stay with my boyfriend as we settled in before our trek. Hospitality was really nice. Although the restaurant is soon to expand, I will speak from my experience and say that the menu was a little pricey with limited options- but I was always satisfied with the convenience and food at large. Especially the American breakfast 🤤 The rooms are cozy and worth the price. Sure, there was noise during construction, but nothing at absurd hours of the night in my experience being there for a week. The location is great! Just beyond touristy hustle and bustle, but not far away enough if you want to enjoy the atmosphere of Thamel.

My wife and I had to extend our stay in India, and since our visa had a 90-day limit, we decided to visit the neighbouring country for a few days and return. We chose the next most affordable country across the border and went to Kathmandu to Hello KTM Hostel. We initially reserved a room for one night only due to our doubts. We have had many unpleasant encounters with hotels in India claiming to be of four-star quality. Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the serene atmosphere, tranquil setting, spacious and well-lit rooms, and the friendliness of the staff. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend it from a single day to a full three weeks. This should give you an idea of just how much we loved it! No request was too difficult for them. They have a lovely top floor where you can get a panoramic view of Kathmandu, while you enjoy your food and drinks. You can even have your morning coffee there or treat your wife to a romantic dinner. We recently celebrated our second wedding anniversary during our stay, and to our surprise, the hostel threw us a BBQ dinner party complete with an anniversary cake. It was an unforgettable experience that we will always cherish. We don't typically write reviews, but our stay in this hostel was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Despite our unsatisfactory experiences in other four-star hotels, this hostel exceeded our expectations. We are so impressed with Kathmandu and Hello KTM Hostel; we wish we had visited Nepal earlier. We've decided to make it a yearly destination from now on. We didn't expect to fall in love with the city and the hostel so quickly, but it's got a charm that's hard to resist.
