United KingdomA nice friendly driver from the hotel picked up up in kathmandu and got us to the hotel in great time. We were greeted as soon as we arrived, and were offered welcome drinks and snacks. We had lots of food in the evening, all of it was delicious and arrived quickly. The beds were comfy, the rooms were warm, and the shower was hot. There were a couple of english channels on the digital tv in our rooms, which was nice, and there was tea/coffee and a kettle in our rooms. The location was fabulous, we all had balcony rooms and were all able to sit on the balcony in the morning to watch the sunrise. Breakfast was a buffet with a nice selection, and the chef made us very nice poached eggs on request, and more warm toast. We would have all stayed longer if we had the time.

United Arab Emirates"I recently spent a night at Hotel Himalayan Villa and found the location to be absolutely stunning, perfectly complemented by ideal weather conditions. The hotel's setting offers breathtaking views that enhance the overall experience.However, while the location and ambiance were impressive, there were some aspects of the stay that could be improved. The food provided was average, offering sufficient options but lacking in exceptional taste or variety.One of the more frustrating experiences was the in-room dining service, where the phone frequently went unanswered, necessitating multiple visits to the reception. This was quite inconvenient and detracted from the overall convenience promised by room service.Another notable issue was the inconsistent hospitality from the staff. While the receptionist who guided me to breakfast was notably polite, professional, and helpful, other staff members displayed expressions that suggested they were unwelcoming or disinterested. There was a noticeable lack of warm greetings or genuine smiles, which impacted the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel.In conclusion, Hotel Himalayan Villa has great potential, especially with its breathtaking location and decent amenities like in-room dining. However, to provide a truly memorable experience, the hotel could benefit from improving its communication channels for room service and providing comprehensive hospitality training for all staff members. AustraliaNothing but the view. (It may not be either). We decided to spend a few days in the mountains, leave Kathmandu, enjoy nature and country life and chose this hotel. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the weather, we went in April. Everything was covered in fog. And we decided to entertain ourselves in the ways that the hotel offers in its “services”. But all this information turned out to be a lie! Just to attract tourists. There is no place near the hotel where you can walk, no bicycles, no barbecue area! No(!) SPA! And the photo yoga class was actually stolen from another hotel. In general, the hotel has absolutely nothing except a restaurant. You’re like on a boat, you can’t go anywhere except the hotel, which also doesn’t care what to offer you. P.s. It was especially funny how the administrator told a story with a sad face about how a yoga class was destroyed by an earthquake in 2015...

NepalHospitality is below average. Food is not good as per the price they charge. Suite room feels more like a standard deluxe room (My Pov). Bathroom door stuck in 1 place takes both of us to slide the door lol, imagine when your bladders gonna brust and door wont open lol. That one guy who served our food in our room was very polite and humble, kudos to him. Likewise we are up late night and slept around 3:30am and thought we gonna have a very nice sleep waking up really late but here goes a ring ring (breakfast is ready please come fast) c’mon guys let us sleep. We proceed to have a breakfast which was good surprisingly and left the hotel Asap to find the another hotel to sleep peacefully 🙃

We had to stop in midway cos of that and we walked 1 km in a bad hilly road with ups and downs and it was difficult to locate the property. We called in midway and asked to pick us up, they said we don’t have vehicle, moreover that we are almost there and we can continue walking. There is no elevator here. Our room was in top floor. We went to nagakot for the sunset and sunrise. We booked this hotel and room just to see the sunrise. But alas it was so foggy, we didn’t get to see anything. Plan your time well, and check with the property for all facts before you book.

AustriaThis hotel is NOT a „boutique hotel“ but compared to a cheap motel , not well maintained, too overpriced and everything needs to be refurbished. Bathroom smelled nasty and disgusting from drainage . The whole appearance is poor. Room is NOT a suite but like a double-room, old&partly damaged furniture, wifi in room not working , A/C-needs to be cleaned/or new filter ; extreme loud guests eventhough Manager took care about noise one could hear them till after midnight. Light from outside all night so that room is illuminated . I wish to have my bill adjusted .
Staff and Manager very nice. But bad location and hard to reach . Not much to do around except to walk along dirt-roads .
