I love everything about the hotel. The service is exceptional. Shout out to Bunu. She was extremely helpful. The receptionist downstairs ( forgot her name) was amazing as well. In reality everyone was excellent.

The booking .com number of hotel was not reachable when we were outside the hotel. Swimming pool could have been a bit warmer. But overall a great stay.

The breakfast is really nice, and the overall ambience of the hotel was great. It is just 500 m from the Stupa area which is a good place to shop for Tibetian and Nepali artifacts. Taxis are available late till night. Also, not too far from the airport as well.

Staff: The staff responsible for room service, cleaning and luggage seemed eager to receive tips for every service and request. This was a bit annoying and we felt that most of our expenses during the trip to Nepal were for tips :( However, it appears that this is very common in Nepal and everyone is expecting a good tip!! Cleanliness: The room wasn't clean enough for 5 stars hotel. The floor was dusty and the towels had stains from previous usage. Food: The quality of the food did not meet our expectations. It didn't taste fresh sometimes and didn't have enough flavors. We enjoyed eating outside the hotel for a lot cheaper. The food wasn't worth the money. Lack of information: When we booked through booking.com, we chose a package including 20% discount on food and drinks. Since the hotel didn't specify which type of drinks is included in the discount, we thought by default that it included all types of drinks but this was not the case. We had to haggle with the staff at the hotel to get the discount on all drinks.

The service was excellent and the staff was amazing and friendly. They were all responsive and we didn't notice a delay in the service or any request. They also provided us with a discount on alcoholic drinks although the package we purchased included 20% discount on non-alcoholic drinks. We spent a lovely time there.

My room key kept requiring a recharge and wouldn’t work each time I got back to the room so that was a bit odd to keep going to reception to get that fixed.

The lobby and the pool and spa area in particular are wonderful. The Hyatt has a relaxing vibe.

Nothing particularly to mention as we did not like. Breakfast options can be improved.

Breakfast was good. However few options for non veg clients. It would be better to include more options for non veg. The room was nice , neat and comfortable, We both loved the beds and the pillows it was very relaxing after a hectic day. The room service options and the dinner Alcarte menu was sufficient and nice. We were given packed breakfast and infact the chef was kind enough to accommodate our request of the specific sandwiches. We must mention the staff and their service was commendable. The front office staff Shabina and Sangam made our stay exceptional and very helpful for our requests. They ensured our stay was very comfortable for us. Excellent customer service. We are very happy with the both of their services and also in general the levels of customer service.

WiFi in the room was intermittent.

Room was spacious with a nice bathroom. Nice views over the city. Breakfast buffet was good with plenty of choice. Buffet dinner was also good with a variety of choices. Staff were very friendly. Special thanks to Sanu of the front desk who was especially helpful.
