A little hard to access by taxi.

We stayed in the family suite. It has two bedrooms so the best choice for the group of three. From the terrace we saw nice view of the city.

There was nothing we didn't like.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at Kailash Boutique Hotel! From the moment we were picked up at the airport, we felt comfortable. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted warmly and treated with the utmost hospitality! The dinner was outstanding. We skipped breakfast but we ordered lunch and the Momos, the Mutton Biryani, the Chicken Curry, the Paneer Paratha; all was mouth-watering and delicious! 😋 We left for a trip to Pokhara but we are returning to Kailash Boutique Hotel to spend another night because the hospitality is amazing, the food is delicious and the staff take excellent care of the guests! Special thanks to Dol, the manager and all the staff. They made us feel like we were with family! We plan to visit Nepal again & stay there.🙏

Impeccable hotel! The room is very well designed, and brilliant clean. Bed is comfortable with high quality linens. The Bathroom is also very clean, shower cabin is huge and very convenient. Breakfast is nice: several hot dishes that change every day. Definitely the best small hotel breakfast I've ever had. The location is perfect! Right in the middle of Thamel, but on a quiet side street, which makes for a good calm sleep :) The internet is fast. I have compared it to Radisson Kathmandu and Kailash is muuch faster! Last but not least: the staff! Very friendly, smiling and willing to help but absolutely not intrusive. A rare combination! The receptionists, the restaurant guys, the manager. Everybody! Thank you for a wonderful stay. Will stay again when I return to Kathmandu.

Staff is very nice and friendly, they always help and assist for our trip. Hotel located at central of thamel, walk for a few minutes we can enjoy with walking street. Our rooms are new and clean. Everything is excellent. I do recommend this hotel if you come to Nepal.

We stayed at Kailash Boutique Hotel between January 18-26, 2025. First of all, I would like to state that the location of the hotel is very central. It is in the center of Thamel, a few steps away from very nice restaurants and shops. The street where the hotel is located is very quiet and calm. The hotel was brand new, spotlessly clean and safe. We felt at home. Upon our request, they upgraded us to a large family room with a view on the upper floors. Our room was cleaned every day, our water, tea and coffee, bed linen and towels were changed. The wifi never went out, we connected easily. There was hot water in the bathroom 24/7. The WC and bathroom were incredibly clean. Every morning, we had a very nice breakfast that included both traditional Nepalese dishes and all the elements of a western style breakfast. The young staff at the restaurant were extremely polite and attentive. They served us Masala Tea and Masala Omelette every morning. We are grateful to them. I would like to thank them very much for their friendliness. From the moment we entered the hotel, Manager Dol took great care of us. He arranged a free taxi from the airport to the hotel upon our arrival. On our return, he saw us off to the door and gave my wife and I two very valuable traditional Nepalese gifts. I would like to thank Dol, our friends at the restaurant and all the other Kailash Boutique Hotel staff. We really felt at home for 8 days. If you are going to stay in Kathmandu, Kailash Boutiqe Hotel is a great option. After your stay, you will understand why the hotel has a score of 10 out of 10. Thank you again. All the best. İlter

There’s not much to dislike, but I would have appreciated a more extensive dinner menu. That said, the nearby dining options more than made up for it.

Kailash Boutique Hotel exceeded my expectations! The room was impeccably clean and beautifully designed, blending traditional Nepali aesthetics with modern comfort. The staff was incredibly warm, attentive, and always eager to assist with a smile. The location was perfect—peaceful yet conveniently close to all major attractions. The breakfast served was delicious, with a great variety of options. I truly felt pampered during my stay.

It’s in a lane which is not very noisy. Clean property. Very good linen. Mr. Dol, the manager was very attentive to my needs. Took personal care. Staff were very courteous. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent, central location but tucked away on a quieter street. This hotel was a little oasis from the city. The staff was warm and welcoming. The meals were very good. It was ideal for our stay.

New hotel so all furniture is nice. Clean with wet/dry separation in the bathroom.
