Everything was amazing

Definitely this was our bests stay in Nepal while we were there ! We are a Portuguese couple traveling by motorcycle and by that time visit Nepal/Pokhara. To be honest we loved our stay in this hotel ! Staff is super kind and friendly. They helped us with everything we needed since the beginning! Great private parking so we could park took our motorcycle there with no issues and it was very safe. Reception staff is very kind. Our special attention and appreciation go to Sanggeta that was very kind with us and helped us with everything. Rooms are very clean, spacious, comfortable and great environment full of light! Immaculate to tell the truth! One of the cleanest toilets we have ever seen ! Amazing hot shower 24h Fresh towels and sheets 👌🏻 Room is spacious and very comfortable with good temperature, nevertheless you always have AC. We slept very well because the bed is too confy ! They provide laundry service and the service which is quite good. Breakfast is delicious !! Could not ask for a better breakfast to be honest ! Everything is fresh and homemade. The lobby area is very nice ! Very nice decoration and environment. We stayed in this hotel for 11 nights and we did not want to leave.

We were struggling a bit with the wifi connection. A bit slow but still working.

The hotel was really eco friendly with lots of pretty plants. There were also cards games to play with, which was fun too. My family love the breakfast selections, especially the waffles ☺️. We had a nice time even for a night.

Breakfast area could get a little busy at times

- Breakfast was awesome - the best from the hotels I stayed in in Nepal. Good selection of cooked items - tasty too, freshly brewed coffee and waffles made to order. A great way to start the day - Staff seemed cheerful and professional, generally good vibes - Comfortable rooms with nice views at the front and cleanliness is on-point - Nice location, very close to bars and restaurants and to the lake, but on a side-street so the hotel itself is quite quiet - If you go up to the rooftop, you can see a nice lake view (albeit that its partially obstructed by new construction, seems like there’s a bit of a development arms-race in Lakeside)

We were a family of six staying at karuna for initially only a few days prior to our trek. We loved it so much we stayed for a week on our return. Great hot shower, spacious room, comfy bed, yummy breakfast (loved the waffles!). Our favourie hotel in Nepal. Thank you Karuna staff - we loved our stay!!

Rooftop terrace not really inviting.

Huge, clean and nicely furnished room in a calm street, only a short walk away from Lakeside. Views from our room were wonderful. The breakfast is very delicious and served as early as 6.30 am. Friendly staff. We came back for a second stay.

Nothing - we liked it so much that we extended our stay!

The room was spacious and clean and the staff absolutely lovely. We also really enjoyed the breakfast every morning in the peaceful lobby area. Special mention for the coffee and the waffles! The location was perfect, only a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of Lakeside.

This is a really great hotel in an excellent location. Clean big comfy room with a great balcony (the pictures dont really do it justice...it was much nicer than we expected). What really made it next level for us was the amazing staff all round. So friendly and helpful. Very impressed! Also, breakfast was fresh and delicious with different options every day, and great coffee!

Almost nothing. Just the fan was not starting by itself, we needed to start it manually.

The staff at Hotel Karuna were always welcoming and helped with any questions we had from laundry to booking bus tickets. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast in the morning had a mix of western and Nepali food. The view from the rooftop was beautiful any time of day!

Words can’t describe how much we enjoyed Hotel Karuna. The rooms have super comfy beds and wonderful lighting. Breakfast was incredibly tasty with little variations every day. But the best thing is the staff - ooooh, what a lovely bunch of people! Special thanks to the charming owner who supported us with gift shopping. Her eco-friendly, plastic-free approach is highly admirable. All said, Karuna has the perfect mix of local vibe and western standards. We extended our stay - but if you do so, better be quick as the hotel is particularly busy on weekends.

It's a very lovely and eco-friendly hotel in Pokhara Lake Side! The staff was super friendly, the location very central yet quiet, our room clean and spacious, and breakfast fresh and tasty.

Not much to post, but the accommodation and bathrooms are very basic and the soaps were small to handle during a bath scrub, but they were happy to provide extra if needed.

Good sumptuous continental breakfast with adequate choices for vegetarians too. Their warm and courteous front desk staff as well staff manning the breakfast area are their asset. The owner herself was around to help and guide regarding the options for an adventure trip for my son.

Everything was perfect.

All the staff, particularly Shruti and the lady shadowing her, Narayan, BJ were totally focused on customer care. Spacious Rooms with excellent facilities. The owners especially the good Madam was open to suggestions and implemented them. I respect her vision of a caring, safe and welcoming ethos. Breakfast was delicious with fresh coffee. Hotel was immaculately clean. They have a fantastic eco friendly approach. Loved my stay at hotel and definitely recommend this unique hotel.

The shower takes a little getting used to, but every other detail about the room was great.

I loved the care and attention of the staff and the great location that was quiet but very easy to walk to the main strip of shops and the lake. I loved the balcony and the tea. I loved that they are serious about environmental conservation.
