Very central to downtown Thamel but situated on a quiet road away from the madness. The hotel staff are very helpful, and always greet you with a smile.The breakfast was very nice as were the rooms. Absolutely nothing to complain about, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I will be staying again for a few nights on my return from Pokhara.

Wonderful stay at Kumari Boutique hotel in Thamel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I traveled solo and they were always keen to help me with taxis and answer any questions. This hotel doesn't have the frills of a western hotel chain but it's comfortable, clean, safe, and a good location if you want to be in Thamel. Bed was super comfortable...imo! Room cost is very affordable so you can save your money for excursions, shopping etc.! Hotel also offers airport pickup for $10. Much more expensive than a taxi but if it's your first time to Kathmandu and you don't want any hassle haggling for a taxi out front or stopping at the ore-paid taxi stand it's a nice piece of mind. Drawbacks were that the included breakfast doesn't offer much choice and during my stay the pastries seemed stale. Coffee is only instant but on the plus side, you can order from a full cafe next door for a discount and the Kumari staff will bring your cappuccino, Americano whatever to your table on the super cute patio.

A very lovely boutique hotel with a wonderful team. They give personalised service to all their guests. It is in a very convenient location close to all shopping and restaurants. Housekeeping did good job everyday and the room was always clean. The restaurant serves great food too. I can’t wait to be back there soon.

All the staff were lovely, friendly and very welcoming. The rooms were clean, bed super comfy. The location is great, just on the edge of Thamel away from the hustle and buslte , but with a 2 minute walk your in the centre. Food was great. Breakfast- wide variety. And Dahl baht was delicious!

The hotel is located in a quiet side street not far from Thamel's busy streets where you can find lots of eateries and shops. In the morning you can enjoy a rich and varied breakfast buffet and for lunch and dinner you can choose a la carte dishes. The room was spacious, clean and very comfy. The manager and concierge helped me organise a driver and car for sightseeing in the Kathmandu valley, they booked a bus ticket to Pokhara and gave me lots of information and recommendations for my stay in Nepal. Pick-up and drop off at the airport (extra charge) was arranged as well. I stayed again at the hotel on my way back home. I really loved this place, I felt really welcome and it felt like home far away from home.
