PortugalSome minor issues: - pillows are too slim - the bathroom easily gets flooded when chooses the ceiling shower - pool and rooftop bar not really inviting, maybe the pool is too small and the surround is decorated in the best way possible (nearby hotels enjoy better spaces) - should be reformulated
The reception staff are so kind. Despite being central, the room was really quiet. Localization is superb - surrounded by services, countless bars and restaurants, in walking distance to Durbar square and other monuments. Very clean. Good breakfast Good wifi and TV

United KingdomWe loved everything. Stunning hotel in the heart of Thamel. I highly recommend having dinner there, the food is exceptional and the staff would go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Everyone who works there is so kind and understanding and ready to help with anything. The breakfast was also exceptional and super delicious. This was an incredible treat after a tough hike through the Himalayas. Stunning hotel, beautiful rooms, the best staff, high end food and great location. I literally cannot rate it higher. Manager went above and beyond to make us feel like home. I will be definitely visiting this hotel again during my next stay.

United StatesEverything was great - staff was very friendly, flexible, and accommodating. Staff helped arrange a driver to take me to different sites on a tight schedule, hotel was walkable or a short taxi away from attractions, and staff had good recommendations for the nearby area. The terrace restaurant was a great place for breakfast (the breakfast spread was HUGE). Because the hotel is located in a side street in Thamel, it was actually pretty quiet and peaceful (especially compared to other very loud hotels and streets in the Thamel area). The hotel was safe and there were no issues walking back at night or down the street to get to the hotel.

United StatesTraffic on streets is very hectic - pedestrians dodging motorcycles, occasional cars n cans.... One can get used to how to walk. Payment for extras is handles at a separate desk, a bit slow and clunky.
The breakfast is outstanding - far better than most hotels, let alone in this rice bracket. Good choice of hot hood, pastries, muesli and cereals with nuts n seeds, fresh fruit, Indian and Nepali dishes... And more. Beds and pillows comfortable, water reasonably hot. The meditation gurus they brought in were excellent.

Rooms were spacious and kept clean throughout our week long stay. Complimentary water was topped up every day which was much appreciated. Staff were very helpful and friendly - keen to share suggestions about what to do in Kathmandu and to have a chat in general.

United StatesMy wife and I were thoroughly delighted with this lovely hotel. We stayed a full week as we explored Kathmandu and the surrounding valley area. Ms. Deepika Shrestha, assistant front office manager, provided useful advice and guidance for our many excursions throughout the entire Kathmandu Valley. Indeed, we found all the staff to be warm, friendly, and ready to go out of their way to be helpful (including Sunil, Riya and others at the front desk). The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, with upper storied rooms providing panoramic views of the city. Having spent a full seven mornings at the hotel we were pleased with the quality and variety at the breakfast buffet. The hotel’s location is ideal. In the heart of Thamel district—Kathmandu’s traveler’s enclave—it’s convenient to a wide array good restaurants, bars, and shops. There is plenty of interest along the way to Darbar Square (an 18-minute walk). Situated as it is in an accessible back street, it is pleasantly removed from the hustle and bustle of Thamel that, while often enlivening, can also be wearying. It was always nice to return there in the evening and take advantage of the view from the rooftop bar.

United KingdomStayed room 510. Noise from the nightclub which I have now read reviews about was absolutely ridiculous till 5 in the morning. We both had to put our noise cancelling headphones in and it was still really bad. So bad we might as well have been in the nightclub. After 2 hours sleep the noise from the lifts and people going for breakfast in the restaurant near our room started! The worst night in a hotel we have ever stayed in and we are in our 50s! Receptionist reaction to our complaint the next day was a smile and then the bill. Poor receptionists must get it all the time and can’t do anything about it so don’t even try. Maybe they put us in that side of the hotel as they knew we’re only staying one night. How the nightclub can get away with the noise is beyond me. P.s I never right reviews good or bad as I think everyone has a different outlook on things and different expectations but felt the need to warn people.

United KingdomI was unaware there was a nightclub directly opposite the property and the noise until about 4am every morning was very loud. The staff kindly moved us to the other side of the building but it was still loud and therefore we hardly slept during our stay
