Due to nearby construction, there was some noise early in the morning. In the afternoons, the music was a bit loud, but since most people don’t stay in the hotel during that time, it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, it’s a relatively quiet place, especially considering it’s in Thamel, Kathmandu.

The hotel’s location was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent, leaning towards good. The place was clean, the bed was comfortable, good hot water and overall, it was worth the price.

The staff at Magnificent Hotel were fabulous. The dining room staff, the front desk staff, and others working in the hotel were extremely helpful and understanding of our needs, and always listened attentively to any feedback which we provided to them. In fact, during our stay at this hotel, the dining staff listened carefully to some feedback I gave them about some of the items on their menu which we had eaten, and the next day those issues had been solved. Not that is the height of customer service, and because of all this, we will be recommending the magnificent Hotel to our friends and others who wish to visit Kathmandu. 10 out of 10.

It was a shock at first, but I got used to instant make-your-own coffee. Also, I'm sad I didn't have the capacity to eat more of the best yogurt ever

Two-minute walk to the energy and chaos of Thamel, but room was absolutely quiet. Breakfasts were excellent with perfect variety and flavor. Above all, staff is at all times welcoming and helpful. Wifi was strong and consistent. Bathroom had plenty of hot water. A great value - why stay anywhere else?

The people were accommodating and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, with a comfy bed and hot shower. The location was very nice and peaceful at night, as it is away from the clubs. The breakfast options were great. The staff were happy to help with any questions. They also offered a late check-out, which was handy.

They offered complimentary airport pick up which was awesome so less stress for first time visitors in Nepal. The room has everything basic needs , 2 big bottle of water for guests is amazing. Hot water and AC/heater working. Amazing staff and affordable stay, will definitely stay if you come round Nepal

After a long, delayed flight it was great that they had sent a driver to pick me up at the airport, which was a free service. It is comforting seeing your name on a sign when arriving in a new country, after midnight. The hotel is well located in Thamel, close to restaurants, clubs and tourist sites. I booked a few tours, and they all new where the hotel was located. The hotel staff booked me a cab, using indrive,a local app that gives the best rates. Guests pay the cabbie directly. Their included breakfast was decent, especially since it is included. The staff were very friendly, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great value.

No elevator. The breakfast was overall OK, but this is not its best feature.

The location is great. It is immediately adjacent to, but not in, the densest part of Thamel. To my surprise, the Garden of Dreams was only 3 minutes away by foot and lonely planet's top-rated restaurant in Kathmandu was 2 minutes away. The staff consistently provided excellent and helpful service. They arranged taxis quickly and without a mark-up.

My stay at this hotel was incredible! The hotel is simple but very good, with amazing staff who made me feel right at home. The location was perfect, offering easy access to everything I needed. They even provided a free airport pick-up, which was a wonderful touch. The included breakfast was delicious, with a variety of tasty options to start the day. I plan to return to Nepal and will definitely stay here again. You can book this hotel without hesitation – it's an excellent value for the price. Highly recommended!

Wonderfully pleasant and straightforward stay. Very peaceful place in the heart of the bustling city. Accurate to the photos and very comfortable beed and room. Fast responses to queries, very helpful staff, and great to have the airport shuttle as a bonus. I stayed again on my way back out of Nepal. Highly recommended.
