Location was close to everywhere I wanted to go. As mentioned by others, Ganga the manager is extremely helpful and friendly - it felt more like he was a friend there to help you. I would definitely stay here again. They had scales to weigh my bag at reception which was a big help before I returned home by plane! I could eat breakfast inside the restaurant or outside surrounded by a garden and trees. And thank you Ganga for advising me not to go by motorbike - you were right - it was safer by car!! 😆😍

The hotel is new and has everything you need. Rooms are spacious and has a luxurious touch to it. They have a restaurant at the ground floor where the free breakfast is served. It is a great place to meet and mingle with other guests. Room service is also available in case guests want to order from the restuarant. Breakfast was buffet and has everything you need to start your day. Bread, rice, meat, veggies and fruits, juices and coffee/tea, cereals, pancakes etc. The staff were amazing! Very friendly and will cater to every request you would have. The location was perfect! Just a few minutes from the Thamel Square where the action is. (You can find a lot of Japanese, Korean, Chinese restaurants in the Thamel Square. Souvenir shops are also there.) One-time pick up OR drop off from the airport is an added bonus that I have never experienced before and saved me effort and money. And... they have a weighing scale at the reception to check your baggage! How cool and usueful is that. Above all, the hotel manager, Mr Ganga is the best! He goes out of his way to make sure his guests feel welcomed, are comfortable, and having a great time. I had a private tour on my second day, got lost somehow, and when I couldn't contact the driver, he went out of his way and picked me up in his scooter so that I could meet the driver. I've been to quite a few hotels in different countries and Magnificent Hotel in Kathmandu is definitely one of the top 3 hotels I've been. Thanks to everyone especially Mr Ganga for making my stay in Nepal a memorable one.

The hotel is an amazing choice in Kathmandu! It is really clean and tidy, better than the pictures on the website! The WiFi is smooth and fast, and the location is awesome. They offered me pickup from the airport, which really helped when I didn't have my money exchange and sim card ready. Everybody is so friendly and nice to me in the hotel, and they helped with my luggage as there is a staircase. Really enjoyed my stay! Thanks for your kind hosting.

We had a pleasant stay at Magnificent Hotel. Our journey in Kathmandu was made memorable and extremely comfortable, from the free airport pick-up up to the check-in & check-out process. The breakfast was great with a variety of food served in a buffet. The place was very clean and serene. The room was big, clean and modern(with a raindrop shower). And the highlight was the hotel manager Mister Ganga who was superb! Made sure we had a great time and took care of us guests. The staff from the front desk and the restaurant were all so pleasant too. Definetely coming back in this hotel when we travel again to Nepal :)
