Nothing. There is no lift but we stayed on the first floor, it didn’t bother us at all.

The manager and staff were very friendly. We got complimentary airport pickup which was very nice. The location of the hotel is also good according to price. The rooms and toilets were very clean. All the Thamel restaurants and bars were in walking distance. It was our first time in Kathmandu and they also booked tickets for our bus to Pokhara. Couldn’t ask for more from the hotel.

the water in the tap and the shower has a faint smell of iron and light amberish color. I found out later that it was from deep well. I had to wash my face at least with bottled water. limited breakfast option especially for non-south Asian guests.

the room was spacious. the staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to assist. Ganga was great taking care of my requirements, especially with tours.

I was also impressed by the hotel's cleanliness and hygiene. Especially in these times, it was reassuring to see the rigorous measures taken to ensure the safety and well-being of the guests. All good. There isn’t a lift, but staff take care of your bags. If stairs are an issue, request a Lowe floor. Wood floor could be better buffed, but slippers were available so I made use of those. Bathroom floor slightly flooded during showers but dries quickly. You can use a towel as needed or ask staff to help speed up the process.

The Magnificent Hotel lives up to its reputation. Ganga, the manager, goes above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. The hotel is clean and well located. I received an upgrade and the room I stayed in was spacious with all amenities provided and a lovely view. Bed and linens were comfy. Despite surrounding construction, room was peaceful. Breakfast buffet was hearty and included option to order other items. Ganga will help with anything you need outside the hotel and quote prices that are fair and competitive. I really enjoyed my stay here and plan to return.

This was an amazing hotel! We stayed in 3 hotels in Kathmandu and this was our favourite by far. The staff went above and beyond. The manager was exceptionally nice. Included breakfast was tasty and the rooms were very modern and neat. Air conditioning was very good also, which is great for those hot days. The location of this hotel is a very safe area in Thamel and we loved staying here.

The rooms need a fan and window mosquito nets. Else it becomes stuffy if one doesn't want to switch on the AC. Again, I am one of few peeps who don't use ACs except when it is very hot.

We had a wonderful stay in the Magnificent Hotel. The location could not have been better it was around a 3 minute walk from the main shopping street which was perfect for us. When we got there the hotel helped set up all of our activities that we did for the week and got us amazing drivers and tour guides!! The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. The breakfast was also amazing!!
