Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A bit of mould bathroom and no elevator otherwise very comfortable.
This hotel was a fantastic choice for my stay . The rooms were spacious and clean room and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful always going about and beyond. The location was also perfect right in the heart of Thamel. The elegant design, impeccable service, and serene ambience create an unprecedented experience. A perfect retreat for discerning travelers.

everything was great
Excellent breakfast from the restaurant. For breakfast, there's something for every taste—eggs of your choice, pancakes, fresh fruit, melon juice, soup, potatoes, and more. For lunch and dinner at the restaurant, I tried the pasta and salads—everything was very good. The ladies at the reception were very friendly and attentive. Room cleaning was excellent. The air conditioner worked perfectly, and there were no issues with the hot shower. The internet connection was decent—I was able to work remotely for a few days without any problems. The hotel also offers a free airport shuttle. The driver was waiting for me with a sign displaying my name without any delays. Payment can be made by credit card or in cash, cash both in US dollars and the local currency.

Amazing place. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. Zanak drove us a few times and he was amazing. Location is near to restaurants and shops. You can enjoy your breakfast in a beautiful garden.

I had a room with a bathtub, but it was not in very good condition, and did not hold water with the plug supplied. There was also a lot of mold around the tub.
The hotel has a great location, between the touristy part and the historic part of downtown Kathmandu. Despite being so central, it has a lovely, quiet garden - an oasis in the hectic city. Everything is walkable from there. The staff members were always kind and helpful. My room with a balcony was very nice, though the furnishings are a bit tired.

The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so if you have a mobility issue, you may choose to stay on the first floor. The only other thing that I didn't like was the fact that I only stayed here 3 nights. I wish I could spend at this hotel the rest of my life!
Very attractive, large and comfortable room. Beautiful balcony facing a charming garden with a peaceful waterfall surrounded by tropical plants. Great breakfast buffet with excellent options for vegetarians. While the hotel is excellently located in touristy Thamel very close to everything, it's a few steps away from a major Thamel street, and when you get to the hotel and its garden, amazingly you can't hear a single sound from outside. It's so peaceful, so beautiful!

I ve been there several times in the course of 2, 3 months. The position is excellent, the hotel does not face any road making it a quiet place in the middle of the energy of Thamel. Rooms were always ok, some bigger other smaller, but were alway good for my stay and all my luggages. The garden is really pleasant and a nice plus! Staff was alway really kind and available. Needing to go back to Kathmandu, I will stay here again.
