Amazing place to stay in the center of Kathmandu ! Very close to Durbar square, Thamel and other sites of interest. A great thing is that the house is on a small square with a pagoda wich has a very laidback atmosphere and friendly neighbors. There is a kitchen corner with a supply of clean water in the house wich is fabulous. I highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit Kathmandu !

Nothing I didnt like about this place.

Good facility with plenty of solar powered hot water, clean, well situated at the center if Kathmandu, away from the more touristy Thamel, very safe. A genuine Nepalese experience in a great neighbourhood. I stayed February/March 2025 and only left because it was fully booked beyond the dates I initially booked. Im hopeful its available next trip! Bobby owns and operates the place and made my stay awesome, picked me up from the airport and took me to many places it would have been difficult to arrange to go to; showed me all the essential shops in the area (theres a great convenience store downstairs) and gave me many tips on how to navigate the city's peculiarities. Thanks, Bobby! See you next year!

Hot water was not available for 24 hrs...in winter mornings it becomes difficult to manage without hot water in bathroom. Also proper mirror was absent, so getting ready was a bit challenging. Additionally the WIFIis awfully slow, it almost never worked.

The location of the property is just great, its just a min walk from the KathmanduDarbar Square. Very clean and well maintained property. One can have enjoy complete privacy in this property. It's more of owning your own flat at the heart of the Kathmandu.

Bobby is an excellent, caring and friendly host,he picked me up from the bus stop, waiting patiently as traffic held us up. A ride on the back of his motorbike to the hotel was great fun! Room spacious, double and single beds, wardrobe, chair and table, several power points, clothes stand. Directly outside the room is a wash basin, shower room and toilet next door, plus kitchen with kettle. Each guest is on a seperate floor, so very private. Sat up on the roof terrace in the sun one morning too. Central position, 2 minutes from Durbar Square, plenty of local shops including a supermarket next door to the hotel.

The building was difficult to find. I went out to explore Durbar Square and had some trouble finding place again. The area is a bit of a maze of small streets all rather similar. By day three I was OK with it.

I have been here for almost two weeks and I have no complaints. Bobby (the owner), is a very good host, he is attentive and speaks english well, so it's easy to communicate. The rooms are nice and comfortable, each one has its own bathroom on the landing. The guesthouse is well situated right next to the historical city center.

Bobby is the perfect host. From time of booking till time I left he was available to help and offer advice. The rooms are like living in a Nepalese house, with just the right amount of extras Was a little quieter and handier to most locations than Thamel. Bobby even took a day off to show me around some far to reach places, was exceptionally knowledgeable, and a great guide. With the beautiful temple out front to durbar square around the corner, it's a vibrant part of Kathmandu city.

I love love love the place. The host Bobby is an amazing guy. He let me check in early as I was running from cockroaches, he bought me bus tickets and drove me to busstop or picked me up...I came back several times. He is also very quick in responding, so communication was always great! The whole house is very clean. You have everything around, perfect location. I loved the room with the small balcony. This place I can highly recommend!

Great location. I didn't fancy Thamel. Very comfortable room and surprisingly quiet for such a central location. Close to Durbar Square, but on a road off it, with a little temple in front, which means you are a bit away from the road. Nice room with comfortable bed and a good fan. Water dispenser on site. Useful grocery next door.
