Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Overall the environment was clean and quite. It was my 2nd time being here. I loved my stay here. Will be in my first priority whenever I come to pokhara.

the staff is really polite and friendly, the owner help us with some information about Annapurna and allow us to left ours bag while we were doing tracks. Also the room is big and the shower is amazing

Gives the flavour of homestay type of environment. Place is quite peaceful. Owner is so friendly and helpful. And this hotel is budget prone...truly I loved the stay.

The hosts were so kind, they helped with recommendations! the home stay was in a quite area- still close enough to lakeside and the bus stations. we adored the family, they were all so sweet and made sure everything was going good

The room had an awesome artwork on the wall, good bathroom, clean space. A lot of local markets around the area.. I enjoyed my stay and the host family is very nice.

Simple accommodation in nice, slightly less touristy area of Lakeside. Really liked attached coffee shop and rooftop terrace. Family is super nice who runs guest house! I set up my trek to Mardi Himal with them and Soubodh was my guide and he was excellent! Thank you!

There was a little bit of mould in the room but nothing too serious.
The house is located just outside the main area, which makes it more quiet. The rooms and facilities were very clean. The family running the place is lovely. The allowed us to leave our backpack there when we went hiking. Good value for money.

I thinks their food items price is high than that of my imagination. I think 250 for dinner is enough for every nepali .
Their behavior as well as their facilities. Just wow ...environment for relax. I love tea and softdrinks to drink in the terrace, the view, the nature...completely awesome

The family is just beautiful! They’re so helpful with everything, trekking advice etc, very honest. You can rent gear as well. The rooms are great value, calm, clean and comfortable. You can have breakfast and dinner there, simple but tasty. I loved it! Thanks so much!

Very sweet family! They have a great coffee machine with real Nepali Coffee which is excellent. Good location walking distance to the river. The family and staff are very kind and responsive to anything you need and always there to help make the stay comfortable.

We had a great stay. It is outside the tourist area but you can walk everywhere to restaurants and Lakeside. The bakery beside is nice. The owners are really kind and helpful - helped us plan our route for trek and kept our bags safe. Hot water and a great shower. Would definitely advise anyone the stay - great value.

Incredible value for money. Decent location, not too far from the lake and good restaurants and cafes. Friendly, smiley staff. Cute dog on site too! Hot water readily available! Basic all-round, but good enough for a couple of nights to see Pokhara.
