Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomOnly minor things really. In the mornings the water in the shower was barely tepid but by lunchtime it was really good and hot. On the second morning more guests were staying at the resort so we were provided with a buffet breakfast. This was surprisingly disappointing compared to the really good a la carte experience the day before. You have a very good chef. Let him/her cook a la carte.....so much better!!
This is a wonderful place to spend a few days in a lovely peaceful location. The units of accommodation are scattered over a hillside surrounded by the organic farm belonging to the resort. In the mornings the area is filled with birdsong. The room although rather on the small side had everything you needed. Plenty of electrical plugs and a heater for the cold weather plus an electric blanket. There was a pleasant balcony from which to enjoy the views of the farm and the mountains, weather permitting!! The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had two evening meals there which were delicious as was the breakfast on day one. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone. Access to the resort does need a vehicle with high clearance.

AustraliaBook their safari pick-up service, regular cars will not make it up the road to the property.
The food, staff and rooms. All lovely, clean and friendly staff. The staff helped prepare a surprise birthday cake for my partner, and even though he was feeling unwell they assisted with offering him alternative food that might ease his upset stomach.

CanadaAmazing location on top of the mountain. Stunning view on clear day especially on the view point right at the property. The place is very quiet, the room was confortable and had all that was needed. The warm matress blanket made it incredibly nice on cold nights. The view from the room is amazing, you feel like you are alone on top if the mountain. The place has an incredible charm with respect to nature, does not have the vibe of big hotels witch is what i wanted. It is well maintained and clean. The staff is absolutely amazing, calm, respectful, helpful and attentionate. The food is very good and the price is fare for the value and quality compared to other places I have seen in Nepal. The outside terrasse makes,it incredibly nice and relaxing. The inside place to eat if too cold is also very cozy. There is not much to do or visit around, but if you want to relax and unwind it is a nice place. I was there in February, the place was not full. The vibe could be different if the place is fully booked as it it small. At the time of visit, It was among my favorite place to be so far in my Nepal trip. I would go back there in a heartbeat.

United KingdomThis was the perfect stopover for a two day trek from Sunderijal to Jhule, allowing plenty of time to enjoy the resort, the breath-taking views and the surrounding area. The staff were incredibly polite and friendly, and the food was exceptional (I had an evening meal and breakfast). I thoroughly recommend Prakriti resort for a relaxing getaway from busy Kathmandu.

FranceThe hotel is about a two-hour drive from Kathmandu by 4x4 along a very bumpy road. The hotel arranged private transportation for us both to reach it and for other destinations afterward. It’s a beautiful place with a large garden and terraced fields spread across several levels. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, offering a lovely view of the mountains in the evening. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. The restaurant’s food is excellent (highly recommend the jeera rice and black pepper chicken), and the hotel provides lunch boxes for those who want to eat outside during the day.

PolandDue to the terrain, getting there is a challenge if you don't have a 4WD vehicle. If needed, the resort provides round-trip transportation for an additional fee. However, driving an off-road vehicle was an additional attraction.
A wonderful place with wonderful views of the surrounding valleys, Himalayan peaks (if there is visibility), stunning, green fruit and strawberry fields around. I dare say that the best place to reset in the Kathmandu area. Very good breakfast and a la carte dishes. Excellent and friendly service. We will definitely come back.

PakistanComfort of home, beautiful scenic views and Nepali hospitality all fused together to make Prakriti what it is. It not just a resort, it is an experience. For a long time I had been wanting to take a vacation that feels right to me, allowing me to build a deeper connection with people and the earth, and do so in a sustainable way that does not harm the ecology. I randomly saw a YouTube video about Prakriti and within the same month I was packing my things and flying to Nepal because I needed to see this for myself. While it was as beautiful and serene as I had hoped, the experience was beyond my expectations in some ways. No camera can capture the peaceful night as you are looking down into the valley and a mystical red moon rises from above the hills. No video can capture the beauty of the prayer flags flapping in winds. No review can fully convey the taste of food, made with care and healthy goods. I guess you have to see it yourself to believe it. The peace I felt atop this hill was incomparable. I hiked up to Dhaap Dam and down to Haibung village during day times. These were some of the most interesting (very solitary) hikes I have been on. Sometimes not a soul in sight for miles. Just you, your questions. Perfect place to have a conversation with the divine, right? This is the gift of Prakriti that I will always truly appreciate. Staying at Prakriti, it felt like being at home with family. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Prem ji and others go out of their way to ensure your comfort and ease. One of the main owners himself drove me on the atrocious path up the hills to reach the resort. On the way we found a stranded family whose car broke down. So we gave them a lift up to the resort. This is how community takes care of each other. Not seeing humans as business opportunities but as people who you care for and build meaningful relationships with. At Prakriti, they give you the whole tour and explain everything.

IndiaThe resort is lovely, the staff if super kind and amazing, food is beyond words, since the veggies are all grown in the farm itself and the chef cooks them up wonderfully. There are a lot of tours and treks you can do and the staff goes beyond to make sure you have everything you need and are comfortable. Would definitely visit again
