If you are staying on higher floor, you will hear almost no noise during day and night time. On lower floor, you will hear noise at day and evening time. Inevitable as it is near central busy location. After 10 am more quiet at night as all shops are closed, less traffic, vehicle on street. Pros to staying on lower floor, less need to climb stairs.

I really enjoyed the location of Pristine Hotel. Thamel is known for tourist spot. Hotel close to nearby amenities, only 1 minute walk away from close nearby shops, restaurant , pharmacy, accessory, bakery shops, fruit shop, electronic shops etc. Hotel owner was accommodating and helpful. Breakfast will be served at morning at around 9am.

It was noisy in the street and also in the hostel itself. The entrance door was banging every now and then and made it a bit difficult to sleep.

Nice, simple, family-run hotel in an excellent location very close to Chhetrapati. It means you are very close to tourist facilities in Thamel, but not right in the center of action. Like this you enjoy a silent environment, which is especially worthy during nighttime. The hosts are very welcoming and do everything to provide you a pleasant stay. Every morning the hosts mother, who is a marvelous person, prepares you a wonderful breakfast at the time of your convenience.

The wifi was really bad on that particular day. Also, I didn't realize there wasn't an AC in the room. But it was fine. It's located in a tight corner of Thamel. It's convenient but not particularly charming.

It was a great stay, you get what you see! The bed was comfortable, the room was big, we had space to sit down at a coffee table in the evening. A lot of very hot water in the shower. The room and bathroom were pretty clean. The wifi was ok, in one of the rooms there was no wifi in bed, but maybe beds are for sleeping:) other parts of the room had wifi! Breakfast was simple as everywhere in Nepal. But you get a bit of everything, which is enough to get the day started. Owner is very helpful, solved a few problems of ours, we are grateful for that:)

Overall it was a good experience but wouldve better if the TV had worked and have a dustbin in the bathroom and in room as well.

:) it was clean, good located, good price :( the room we booked weeks before was suddenly not available. One bed to share for two persons, one blanket and one towel for two persons.. Breakfast was cold fries, dry peas, toast and a boiled egg. For what nepal has to offer in food, this was very disappointing. We asked them to help us with booking a bus ticket to gorkha. They asked 20€ what is the double of the normal ticket price (tourist sofa seat bus),what we found out.. Scamming your own guests and try charging doubble of the normal price is shitty..👎 We will not come back..

Great location, near the main attractions and shops but also very quiet. Staff is super helpful, nice complementary breakfast, very clean and spacious room. They also provide drinking water. Great value for money, would definitely come back!

The owner said, there was an issue with washroom, and he had to relocate me to another of his hotel just beside the original property. And in the relocated one, room was not good either. I had to leave without having breakfast because kitchen opens at 8 am whereas my bus to pokhara was at 6:45 am.
