Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bathroom and toilet were quite dirty, but the rest of the room was in okay condition. Free breakfast is very basic and may not fill you up, but they have cheap add ons.
Great staff that are incredibly helpful and kind. Very accommodating of my requests to have breakfast served in my room. They changed my room to a lower level when I needed better access to Wifi to work remotely. They have a large menu for ordering lunch/dinner and strong wifi on Level 1. Morning coffee was good!

Rooms are not having celing fan if AC does not work then we have to wait till electricity comes or repairs. Staff are not taking care of customers

Except for the uncomfortable pillow (bigger sizes) everything went well 🧁
It was an amazing stay, we loved the environment and the space was amazing. Overall, it's a very good budget friendly space and the breakfast was great too.

The power was cut off for a long period and all the electrical outlets were not working, could have been an emergency backup power supply atleast on limted outputs.
Foods was good, staffs were friendly and helpful.

A bit noisy on the main road but a perfect location at walking distance from Thamel and the bus to pokhara stops in front of the hotel.

Great Hotel for the price.
Very clean, newly renovated Hotel next to the Tourist Bus Stop in Thamel. Breakfast is okay and consists of 2 toasts, jam, omelett and fried potatoes. Black coffee (Nescafe) or black tea is also included.

Great value for money , friendly and helpful staff , close to Thamel area and all the touristic sites in Kathmandu. The food they serve at the cafe and restaurant is amazing and cheap. Big thanks to the owner who was great and always happy to help.

The staffs are friendly,the owner is accomodating,location is amazing especially if your a solo traveler.And the plus point they have a very tasty food.The rooftop view at night and day time is breath taking.

Nothing I could think of
We liked everything about the hotel. The room and the attached washroom was super clean. There's availability of hot water all the time. The hotel is reasonably priced and we really liked their services. We also had complementary breakfast included in our booking which was like a cherry on the top. Owner and all the staffs were very friendly. If you're looking for a budget option in Kathmandu then you can definitely give this hotel a try.

Nothing. Just that the fix phone in the room was inop.
Nice atmosfere, new building, small but cosy room.Perfect location. Complimentary breakfast was really tasty. Wifi properly working. Very attentive staff. Special thanks to the owner Mr.Diby and his wife, to Sunita HK, to the security guard Govinda and to the waiter Tika. You made my stay very special and i really thank you.

The complimentary breakfast was good before but during our last visit it wasn’t as expected and the quality surely degraded than before. I hope it would keep up their service consistently.
The ambiance and the room was good. Food served was also better than expected. I have stayed here for total 3 times already.
