Had a really nice stay here at Hiday Hostel. The rooms are nice and clean, it is located in the centre and the staff is really kind. It is also not really crowded, which is nice, but if you are looking to meet more fellow travellers, another place might be more suitable. By the way, the rooftop is amazing!

I’m so lucky that I booked this hostel. I booked the 4 bed female dorm and it was super clear, I was also really happy that the shared toilet was in the dorm and we only had to share between us. It’s also a very quiet hostel with a lovely rooftop to work from. I fell sick when I arrived in Nepal and the staff went above and beyond to help me that I didn’t feel alone through one of my worst sickness! I wouldn’t hesitate to book if you’re thinking about it.

This is the second time I have come here, the location is great, the staff are very friendly. The owner of the hostel is a very nice person. I am happy with everything here, the rooms are clean, there is a cafe on the rooftop which is very cozy. If you want to be in a good location with good price and good quality , you are in a good place.

I stayed in 2 different rooms and both had some signal of people smoking in them before which gave me some discomfort. Wasnt a major problem but maybe good to have no-smoking rooms. I had to ask for another towel and toilet paper, I understand us westerners use it differently but good to have it in the room upon arrival.

Easy to find get to other places, friendly staff, very comfy beds, warm showers anytime, not as noisy as I expected, got 2 big bottles of water for free and the breakfast was very good. They waited to pick me up even tho my flight was 4h late. The restaurant terrace is cozy and the upper terrace has a cozier area with the view to monkey temple! They were kind enough to storahe one of my luggages while I was in a retreat and came back a few days later. The owner is very kind and attentive, as well all the other staff members. Thanks for contributing for my amazing stay in Kathmandu.

This is my second time at this hostel, I had such a nice stay. I am actually returning in five days and will stay for a week because I liked it so much the coffee and the breakfast is great and so convenient to have on the rooftop. They also have a bar. Great location! See you in a few days guys 🤙 oh and the hot water is actually rally hot thank god!

Great location everything is accessible. Rooms are very clean than other hostel in Kathmandu. 24 hour hot shower which was amazing. Great rooftop restaurant where they serve breakfast lunch and dinner with organic coffee. Rooftop is just amazing to hangout

Brilliant location, close to the main sites. Staff are super helpful, bed is super comfortable and a great breakfast. Tour desk is great as well. Not like some that try to oversell. All in all, I would most definitely recommend.

Hostel is located in Thamel with all Pro's and Con's. Very good private rooms with excellent value for money! The managars and staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooftop terrace is nice :)

Very cozy rooftop resturant with great food. Breakfast is outstanding. Cleans rooms and friendly staff. I organize the trek with them to Annapurna circuit and the services are outstanding my guide Surya is very knowledgeable and supper kind. They make my Holiday great in Nepal.

Everything was great

The location is very good everything is near if you want to walk to durbar square and Monkey Temple. Room are very clean and so fresh. Start the day with organic coffee at rooftop and prices were very reasonable than the other restaurants in Thamel.
