Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I had an amazing stay at sayami home! The staff was friendly and attentive, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. Great location, excellent service, and Highly recommend and would love to visit again!

Very pleasant , inside the heritage city of Patan, just a few minutes walk to the Patan Durbar Square. A lovely husband wife team run their home for guests, private rooms with balconies, inside the building is a flat like atmosphere which is also decorated as a home in the public areas. Room was comfortable, clean with simple furnishings, all one needs when staying in a historic area

The power plugs location! The one that fits to my adapter is in the bathroom only hhaha.. the one in the room is too loose for my adapter so it keep falling out but its no big issue, i bought some tape 😅
Everything!! Ravi is the best! I had some tummy issues, and he helped me find the exact medicine i wanted which is very kind of him. He also helped me with taxi and bus tickets! Very reliable and helpful.. definitely will comeback :)) Wifi is steady and fast, room has a table and good chair for work. Comfy sofa by the window to chill and read a book. Neighborhood is quiet and nice.

The owners were very professional yet friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious with sofa and desks. It was very clean and affordable. The pickup and drop off to and from the airport for an extra fee was excellent: very convenient and safe for a single female traveler. They provided a decent breakfast in my room on request for a very reasonable rate. The location was very convenient and provided a genuine historic and cultural view of life in Kathmandu-although close to tourist attractions, it felt like you entered a historic town and got a glimpse of how Nepali people really live.

If anything, only the smallest of cars can reach the place.
Magnificent guesthouse in a quiet neighbourhood 5 minute walk from Patan Durbar Square. Ravi has created a great atmosphere with quality materials and an eye for design and finishing. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Highly recommended.

Nothing! Would be good to have some tea in the room.
It is located on a quieter street but very central location. Easy to get by to everywhere. Really clean comfortable bed, spacious room. Ravi was amazing, not only he replied very promptly with everything, he also helped me with other things like speaking to taxi driver, top up phone etc. Really cant fault it at all.

Ravi was really helpful in every way, thank you for your hospitality. This place is very close to the Durbar Square and it’s also a 15-minute ride away from Kathmandu, so it’s very convenient. The room is spacious and the location is on the quieter side of the street, which is great for light sleeper like me!

All small inconveniences were solved with Ravi when we talked to him.
Ravi is a good host. He was ready to help us with all we needed. The room was big and nice. Very close to Patan Durbar Square.

As a regular western visitor to Nepal I found this to be one of my best stays. I'd say to Ravi keep doing what your doing! No complaints.
Location was perfect, easy to walk and enjoy historical Patan. Also, easy to find taxi or get Uber. Plenty of local foods close and Labin Mall is just a few minutes walk. Ravi and his wife were perfect hosts and very helpful when asked for advice or directions. Room was clean, serviced daily and had hot water too! Will recommend to anyone stopping through after or before your trek. Good place to begin or end your experience in Nepal. You'll want to return!
