Don’t expect breakfast even though it says the do it for free. I mentioned this to the owner as it’s misleading and he said he would remove it from here. I can see he hasn’t. I was asked if I wanted to do any tours or treks to which I replied no I’ve come here to relax, I got asked a further three times to the point of pestering me and then even WhatsApping me with the treks they provide. No means no. The bathroom needs a very good scrub it was filthy.

Very clean rooms and kitchen. Definetly value for money! Good warm showers and nice kitchen where you can make breakfast for example. Owner is very helpful and flexible. Location is little bit outside of the city center which gives you more peaceful enviroment but you still have very good restaurants near by.

Very good value. Great area to be in if wanting some quiet (relative). Roof top is a lovely space. Hosts helpful and responsive. Good budget restaurants close by.

This is my favorite place to stay at in Kathmandu. It is nearby all the popular places, but in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The family that runs this place is very friendly. If you need any help with anything you can always ask them. Everything is clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend and come back anytime I’m in Kathmandu.

Can be far away from the main tourist things... But still okay for long walks!

The hostel is in a peaceful area, hot shower, nice bed ! Also the price was good ! Local restaurants are very close...

Location is a bit far from the main touristic centre (Thamel), but you can easily take a motorbike taxi or the public bus and get there in 20 minutes. The area is super nice, nice cafes around, vegetable shops and some nice restaurants, so it’s the perfect option if you wanna be a bit outside the noisy roads. A huge plus is that it has a kitchen! We were making ourselves ginger tea in the evenings and it was sooooo nice during the winter. Also, the rooms are incredible, the bed is supremely comfortable, hot shower, and the rooms have balconies. Would defo go back when I visit Kathmandu.

Lovely guest house in a nice quiet place in Kathmandu. Well looked after by the staff, plus they can arrange trekking and other tours for you! Well recommend.

The only problem I had was trying cook and prepare a meal in an incomplete kitchen. A few more ss pots and pans would help. A decent wood cutting board, a few sharp knives, and more variety of plates and bowls would make a big difference. The bathroom mirror was dirty and never cleaned during my 10 day stay. No big deal but easy to just give it a wipe everyday.

Raj, the owner was very easy to deal with. He was accomodating and made several personal efforts to help us get around and help with projects that could easily have taken hours for a new foreigner to complete. The whole family was friendly and shared needed.kitchen space and appliances freely. I will definitely stay here when I return to KTM in 6 months. Namaste. Jordan from Meherabad

Lovely place with lovely people. I extended twice here because I felt very comfortable. The owner is super friendly and helpful. He invited me for tea at his home and even brought me (very early in the morning) all the way to the jeep station on his bike, when I left Kathmandu. Totally recommended. Most friendly owner I met in Nepal!!

Everything you can expect was perfect. The host is incredibly nice and kind. The place is clean and tidy, there’s even a kitchen in case you need it. The location was perfect to me, a lovely district escaping the noisy, crowdy and polluted city centre, surrounded by mountains.

There was a different name as on Booking and first google maps showed a different location near Monkey Temple in Kathmandu, but the real adress was in Thamel. Whit help of the host we arrived safely at the adress.
