Location is very nice near to Pashupatinath Temple just walkable distance. Hotel is clean and neat. Staff is very co-operative. Food quality is also nice. Hotel .rate and foods i.e. breakfast, Tea Dinner meals are moderate and much cheaper .Mr. Prajwal is very nice and thorough gentleman who has treated us very nicely. First day he hold the meeting with all our 11 members. Explained us places and arrenged vehicle for sight seen as well as temples. He also arrenged flight tickets for all of us.Though 9 persons were senior citizen and one young couple , he has makeout very nice plan to visit best and important places in Kathmandu.. Senior citizen as well as a couple was very happy and enjoyed the Nepal tour 100%. We had booked 5 rooms for two days however our flight was was cancelled due to bad climate. Again he accommdate us in hotels all 11 members by booking 5 rooms. If time permit I will definitely plan to visit Nepal again we will stay in Hotel Shiva Shankar. I will recommend to all troust who want to visit Nepal can stay in.the hotel and enjoy the tour.

Date of visit - 16-17 dec 2023 I liked customer service a lot. They, specially Prajwal sir, have guided me as a family number. Location is one of the best things about this hotel. This is next to the Pashupatinath hotel. I also ate food which was good and tasty. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting for vacation Pashupatinath temple.

The hotel is near pasupatinath temple which is walking distance 2 minutes. The hotel is pure veg as we searched and expected. The staff and respected MD sir were kind and helpful. We like the hotel very much.

The room given to me was not clean at all, it had small cockroaches and flies. The linen, towel, pillow cover provided were unclean and had several stains on them. The worst thing about the room was that the ventilation outlet of the toilet would open inside the room! No wonder the room was smelly, damp and had insects! The staff wasn’t concerned about the complaints at all. The person who managed the check out at reception was only concerned about money, charged extra for the room and did not even return proper change.

Fake images of the hotel room are showcased here. Reality is worse. Bed, Bathroom and even entrance are unhygienic. Manager is a scammer. He will scam you for providing trips, pooja and other services. Don’t fall for it. Staff is also very unhygienic. The food served was the worst in taste I ever ate.

It was not a comfortable experience. Very dirty linens and quilt covers. Staff refused to change it saying they dont have any. There was no hot water kettle and no arrangement of tea. There is no lift and we had to use stairs. Very small room with dirty furniture. Very Poor facility in an old building. Its cheap priced compared to others but still not so much value for money.

We booked 3 rooms on 16th May 23.Though the check in is at 12PM as we reached early we request the office for early check-in and as the rooms are available they permitted us to check-in after little wait for cleaning the rooms. The location of the hotel is great as it is only 3 minutes walking distance from the Pashupatinath temple.The behaviour of the staffs are polite and helpfull. The kitchen is also good..They also helped us to book a hotel at Janakpur. We are pleased to stay in this property and certainly stay at this place in our next visit Nepal.
