Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel instantly comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly, always ready to assist with anything we needed, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Every corner of the property, from the lobby to the rooms, was spotless and well-maintained. It was evident that hygiene and cleanliness were a top priority, which gave us great peace of mind, especially since we were traveling with our 8-month-old baby. The hotel was incredibly accommodating for our little one. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. The staff made sure we had everything we needed for our baby’s comfort. Overall, our stay was an extremely happy and memorable time. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and felt truly relaxed and taken care of. The bathroom condition was poor and needs improvement. All the doors looked old and dingy, and require repair.
The hotel's location was excellent. It made it easy to get around the Lakeside area and access the tourist bus stop. I also appreciate the property owner's accommodating my additional request without charging extra. The staff was very welcoming.

Absolutely incredible stay! We spent a total of 4 nights in Pokhara, 2 before our Poon Hill trek and 2 after in a twin bed room with ensuite. Our first room was great, clean and staff were friendly. But what really made our stay was after we returned from our trek the staff put us up in the penthouse with 2 queen beds and massive bathroom with magnificent views of the lake. Really went above and beyond for us and we are really grateful. For no extra charge (nor did we ask for it!) Breakfast is great too. Well worth checking out, especially for the price.

Said I would only give 9.9 rating as there is no soap or dispenser next to ensuite wash basin. Soap dispensers seem to clog up a bit. Breakfast a bit carbohydrate heavy.
The view is magnificent for one. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Booked a Poon Hill private trek through them which went off without a hitch. They upgraded my room on return. Room, Wifi, Hot water all good. Several English news channels on Cable TV. Was more than happy to return to this hotel.
