Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Beds are not 100% comfortable, however, for a short stay it wouldn`t be a problem. Furniture and aircon could be a bit renovated.
Only stayed for one night after arriving to Kathmandu. However, would come back for sure! Nice hotel with spacious clean rooms and great, super friendly staff. Great location as well. Hotel promised us airport pick up and it was arranged very well with no waiting time at all. Good room service and also nice little garden to have a drink! Would happily recommend!

Included in my stay was breakfast this could have been a bit more varied including more local dishes, tea and coffee could have been a bit better.
I stayed at Taleju Boutique hotel on two occasions in over a 3 week period. On both visits they arranged a pickup for me at the airport which was an added bonus. The room was very comfortable for the price paid with very friendly and helpful staff.

The location was great for me. It was on the edge of Thamel in a quiet side street so there was no traffic noise but it was close enough to the action to pop out to do some shopping or go to a restaurant. The staff were really friendly and the bedroom clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was excellent for such a small hotel. I ate in the restaurant 1 night and that was great too. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I return to Kathmandu.

Breakfast was rather basic, the same items being present each day. That being said, I am sure that if one were to request a different type of food, the staff would do their utmost to accomodate you.
Marvellous ambience, the dining area overlooks a beautifully kept garden. Staff were exemplary in their service, paricularly Dipesh, Sakshyam and Senit, who took great care in ensuring that my meals were prepared to my expectation, even going to the effort of providing me with a meal not on the menu.

Nothing a very good choice and located near some of best UNESCO sites to visit Hotel also stored output luggage whilst we went on a 2 day tour

The room was really comfortable and the location given its in middle of Katmandhuit was so quiet which meant we slept well . The breakfast was really tasty and a wide choice

Room facing the inner garden was noisy. Breakfast could be improved. No separation shower - bathroom (so the floor is a mess after the shower)

We had an incredible stay at Taleju Boutique Hotel! Every staff member, from the manager to the driver, security guard, waiter, and bar staff, went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. Special thanks to Dipesh and his friend (sorry, I forgot his name)—their genuine care and attention to detail made us feel truly special. The beautifully designed rooms and cozy atmosphere exceeded all expectations. If you’re looking for exceptional service, this is the place. Can’t wait to return!

The Taleju is a wonderful respite from the craziness of Kathmandu. Very clean, wonderful staff, the back courtyard is a great spot to relax and unwind. The price is good value and the restaurant is quite good.
