FranceCan be a little noisy in the morning as there are people leaving very early the hotel. Breakfast is ok but little choice (basic fruits like watermelon and melon only), croissants and chocolate croissants were not fresh every day (4 days). Bathroom not very convenient, water goes everywhere when you have a shower.
We had a nice stay at Tibet Hotel. Staff is very nice and responsive, rooms are confortable with standard equipment. Rooftop restaurant and lobby café are very nice (good food and good drinks). Good restaurants in the vicinity.

SingaporeThe toilet could have been better designed; the area outside the shower becomes wet and slippery due to water splashing out during a shower. Ask for a room facing the back of the hotel. Our room faced the front and we could hear music from the hotel next door. Thankfully it stopped at 10.30pm every night.
The rooms were furnished to a high standard, with fine bedlinen provided. The decor was tasteful, reflecting the hotel's Tibetan heritage. It was like staying in an art gallery. What really impressed us was the staff. They were so helpful and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. They were quick to respond to requests and showed excellent teamwork in getting things done.

Staff is so caring they offered us 3 umbrellas for our family when it appeared it was going to rain. Very neat and clean property. Beautiful paintings all around ! Highly recommended. Washrooms had good water pressure.

United StatesWhat didn't we like? Hmmmm. We are still delighting in our great time there so its hard to think of something that should be improved. There might be cheaper places to stay, but this hotel was SO much nicer, cleaner, modern, better food, etc. After being out and about all day, its so nice to come back and relax and catch up in a high-quality hotel.
We had such a great stay at the Hotel Tibet. We met friends there and were so grateful for the place as a launch point for us in Kathmandu. For us, the hotel was centrally located, safe, clean, and although close to Thamel, it was far enough away to be an oasis away from all the vendors/shops/noise/lights/etc.. The hotel was clean and it somehow mixed old Tibetan charm with contemporary conveniences. Our rooms (three in all) were well-appointed and modern with good wifi and nice bathrooms. The staff was maybe the best part. They were so friendly and helpful. We ended up spending a bunch of time in the hotel catching up with friends/family and loved the roof top terrace and delicious menu and bar up there. Hope we are able to come back soon!

United StatesI really liked this hotel. Location is good. Close to Thamel and easy access to everything I wanted to do. At the same time it is tucked away from the rush of the city. Hotel itself feels brand new, I guess it was recently renovated. It has a great Tibetan feeling but modern at the same time. Staff professional but friendly and engaging. I would happily stay here on any future visits.

United KingdomBreakfast provision was inadequate and extremely poor by international standards. Needs attention. Perhaps as hotel was under occupied, but we should have been informed and had specific provision made for us.
Warm and friendly welcome, smiling staff always, over and above assitive. Facility was safe in a compound in diplomatic area in backstreet with many souvenir and gift and jewellery shops. Rooftop bar and restaurant was a bonus.
