The Tiger Corner is an excellent place to stay in Chitwan NP. Here you have everything from one source: a clean room, delicious food, the NP guide directly in the house and super nice hosts.

    Everything is wow 👌

lovely stay with a family homestay They welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home at all times. My room had everything I needed, including a well working hot shower — a real treat after a day out in the park. The inn itself is perfectly located in my opinion: You’re away from the busy main road, but both the village centre and the bus station are easy to reach by foot within a few minutes walk. When I wanted to go to the neighboring village for a little trip, they also kindly let me borrow a bicycle. I went on two walking Safaris led by Isswor who has decades of experience in the area. We were accompanied by Ram as a second guide and both of them always managed to find great spots to have some close but respectful & safe animal encounters.

Great place. A bit out of the way (10 min walk from the center), which is an advantage if you don't like crowds and noise. We spent 5 nights there. Family atmosphere, very helpful hosts. Food really tasty, good choice of menu and cheaper than in the center of the village. Wi-Fi very good, you can talk on whatsup and send photos (ncel coverage in Sauraha is weak). Comfortable beds. We met several backpackers from different countries. The host is a licensed guide in the park. My wife and I were on a two-day jungle trek, the host and his friend (two guides are required) are professionals worth recommending. They know where to find animals and how to do it safely. We saw, among others, a dozen or so rhinos (including 3 mothers with babies), monkeys, crocodiles and a bear that was digging termites. Lots of tiger tracks (pawprints, droppings, scratches on the tree and ground), elephants and rhinos, eagles, kingfishers, owls, and many others. we also went on a jeep safari but walking is much more interesting. Chitwan is great. We recommend Tiger Corner Inn Homestay.

I had a fantastic stay at Tiger Inn! The room and toilet were spotless, and the space was perfectly sized for a couple or a solo traveler. What truly sets this place apart is the hospitality of the owners—they go above and beyond to ensure a great experience, from delicious food to seamless safari bookings. A unique touch is their welcome drink and complimentary jungle walk, where I was lucky enough to spot a rhino and some deer! Their services are not only top-notch but also the most economical compared to other tour companies. If you're visiting Chitwan, I highly recommend staying here!

I had a room facing the main road, so it can get quite loud when vehicles pass by. There does not seem to be wifi available through I do not need it as I had bought a local SIM card. The lights in the room were against the face of the bed so makes reading on the bed not conducive. Silly me didn't know that left is for hot water. This is not related to the stay but beware of military/park warden personnel who would hitch a ride along the same tourist jeep. There was this one military personnel who did not hesitate to use my head as a supporting post to cross over from our boat onto another boat. Smoking should also be banned in any part of Chitwan National Park. Any guide should also be trained not to harass any female travelers.

It is within 10mins walking distance to the tourist bus terminal linking Sauraha with Kathmandu/Pokhara. There is cup of black tea as a welcome. The homestay can help to organise safari at reasonable prices, which I took the 1 day boat/walk/jeep package. The guides who had come with this package are eagle eyed and can spot rhinos and other animals like monkeys/deers and birds like peacocks/secretary birds at a good distance. It is important for guides to be able to do this for one to be able to see anything, while maintaining safe distance from any animals to prevent animal attacks. I saw 5 rhinos in total out of the 750 strong population in Chitwan. There is hot water and toilet paper available. One of the beds also come with mosquito netting though the netting itself should be repaired before mosquitos return. The homestay can buy bus tickets with no additional fee to the traveler. The final farewell/parting touch/bindi application as a blessing puts a wonderful ending to the stay.

    No complaints.

Great location, quiet area, but close enough to access the park. The hosts are wonderful! They made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Our hostess was so generous and helpful in explaining different Safari options and helping to arrange all of the details for some fun adventures, tailored to our interests. The food was delicious, and all of it a great value for the prices.

I cannot say enough kind words about this homestay. The family that runs it are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I truly felt like I was staying in the home of a friend. I was in a bit of a time crunch and they organized everything for me. I recommend doing the safari through them as the price and quality is amazing. We had a wonderful stay here! We initially booked for 3 nights and ended up staying 5. It really feels like at home, the family is really welcoming and kind. Very attentive and they help with whatever you need. We also booked a 2 days safari walk with them, and the owner is one of the guides. They have so much experience with the park and the animals that you really enjoy the experience to the fullest and we were able to see many animals. If we come back to Sauraha, we already know where we will be staying. Thank you for everything.

I was only here for two nights but my stay here was wonderful. The owner was so nice and hospitable and also cooks amazing food. I sadly didn't have a lot of time, but I really recommend to book the walking safari at her stay because it was such a good experience. The guides were knowledgeable and really tried to help me spot a rhino (which I did) and get close to the animals.

This homestay was amazing! The host goes above and beyond to make sure you’ve eaten and you have accommodations for safaris. She is such a kind soul and made us feel right at home. The room was clean and there was warm water. Not to mention the adorable cat roaming around. I really recommend booking the walking safari through Tiger Corner. It's nothing to do with the inn itself, but the transportation to Lumbini. I was supposed to be dropped off at Bhairahawa. The driver dropped me off at Butwal. I had to find and pay for the new bus myself.

Host is super friendly, helped me book the safaris to the park and arrange the bus ticket to Lumbini. Food is good, family taste. Quite neighborhood, walking distance to wildlife museum and sunset point.

For the price paid the service was good. The ensuite room was clean and contained complimentary water, soap and bathroom tissue. There was WiFi and a window view too. The owner was kind, and though I didn't stay in Sauraha to take a tour, it seems like a nice place to be should you choose otherwise.

Nothing negative, only for people to be aware, the road outside is currently being paved, there is noise from the work during the day. It didn’t affect our stay as we were out early in the morning and when we arrived back they were finished for the day. It will be a great improvement when it’s done, so a little understanding and patience is required while it’s going on. It was very quiet at night.

We were greeted after a very long bus journey with a lovely warm welcome and breakfast which made us feel instantly at home. Our room was comfortable and clean and the location was perfect. It’s a short walk from the Main Street, so it’s nice and quiet but not too far away from everything. The best thing about this place is the caring hospitality of the owner, she tries so hard and works hard to make everything perfect for your stay. We booked one night to begin and ended up staying another 2! We also booked both of our tours through the hotel owner and also our bus to Pokhara. All was dealt with efficiently and kindly. Her rates were excellent compared with other companies and the 2 guides assigned to our safety and enjoyment in the jungle were amazing 🤩 They gave us a truly unforgettable experience, were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the flora and fauna of the jungle and put our lives before their own for our safety. I cannot recommend them more highly. This is not a 5 star hotel, it’s a family run home stay. It is not luxurious, but the hospitality, food and genuine care for the guests more than make up for it. We loved it here!

THE BEST PLACE to stay in Chitwan. Lela and her family are incredibly welcoming, make amazing food, arrange everything for you. We went for a full day safari tour (canoe, walking and jeep) and we had a blast. It felt like home and I’m so grateful I booked 2 nights there! + the hot shower ♥️

Very nice homestay. The owner is very attentionate, takes care of her guests and cooks amazing food. Rooms are large and clean. The hotel is a bit away from the town center (around 12min walk), which makes it very quiet. The quality-over-price ratio is by far the best one I have had here in Nepal. I went on a 2-days walk safari organised by the owner, it was great. Lots of walking, so not for unprepared/unfit visitors.

I liked everything about my stay at Tiger Corner Inn, but the hospitality and kindness of the owner and her family where out of this world! The location is quite and perfect for safari tours, just about a 10 minutes walk away from the nature park, where the safaris start. Lila also organises the tours, then you will get picked up by the guides at the house. I had almost every meal at the accommodation since the food is delicious and definitely better than what I tried in the city. The rooms itself are are such a good price for value. All in all, I am super happy with my stay.
