Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NepalLovely resort with the absolute best service. The staff are wonderful and bend over backwards to meet your every need. I genuinely have never experienced that level of commitment to service. We had a wonderful full day jeep safari tour with Gopal, the nature guide who did everything he could together with a fantastic driver, to make sure we saw as many special animals as possible. It was a great day out in the jungle which I’d surely book again from the hotel. We even had a super deluxe picnic with all sorts of food from the hotel in the middle of the park. Great property, even better people.

NepalLoved the place! The staff was super friendly and made us feel like home. The surroundings were beautiful, garden clean and full of flowers. Quite room, where I had the best sleep after few weeks in Nepal. We also got a tour to jungle with them. Guides were very knowledgeable and caring. Explained every detail and were super patient with us. Would go back to them the next time. It really felt that they love what they do and do it from heart.

MaldivesThe most special part of my visit to Nepal was visiting Chitwan. An excellent place to observe animals and fauna of all kinds. The hotel was excellent and very clean. If you're very lucky you will see a tiger. And if your guides are Gopal and Som you are very lucky indeed! A most excellent guide and enthusiast about all he sees. Knows so much too! We were surprised to see the rhino grazing and walking inside the garden of the hotel.

The staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. Lovely gardens and the layout of the rooms is wonderful. The school of the owners son stayed one night, during our stay. They invited us to join everyone for a lovely Nepali meal. It was so kind of them. Big bonus, a local Rhino often strolls through the gardens, on its way to feed in the fields behind the hotel. Quite incredible!

United KingdomThis hotel is really exceptional: Staff and owner are very friendly, kind and helpful. My room and all hotel is very clean and wonderfully maintained. The hotel is a beautiful place with a garden, many trees. Located in the centre of Sauraha, on a very quiet, silent and safe place. Walk distance to the safari. A wild rhino gave us a suprise visit, it was amazing to see the wild rhino walking in the pathway of the hotel. Everything works well, hot water, free wifi, A/C, comfy bed. The staff helped us organize private tours and were super attentive when we were at the hotel.Walking a whole day and returning by car was the best experience. We saw 7 rhinos and many more animals. I will stay here again my next visit. Thank you

SwedenLovely stay in a calm and lush oasis in Chitwan with perfect location! The staff was very service minded and went above and beyond to make the most of our stay in Chitwan. Some things that made our stay special was the pickup at the bus station, the welcome drink, free fresh papaya straight from the garden and the drop off at the bus station. The son of the owner even drove us to a place in the village after a rhino had been spotted there just so we could see it and the other night he came running to our room to make sure we did not miss the rhino passing by right outside in the street. We went on a great full day guided jungle walk with canoe and crocodile breeding center visit with Mr Gopal and Mr Som. It was quite expensive, but it was well worth the unique experience! We saw four Rhinos and several other animals on a day where some people who went by Jeep saw zero! Their 30+ years of experience really pays off!

United KingdomAs a solo, female traveller, I could not recommend Traveller’s jungle camp enough. Well-located, clean and incredibly friendly, I could not have been looked after better. Mr Gopal not only provided great recommendations but was also a fantastic guide - the tour down the river and safari walk were fantastic. The team - in particular Mr Gopal and Saugat - were also brilliant in their endeavours to get me back to Kathmandu when it looked like my flight may not go due to bad weather. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

United KingdomA couple of nights a neighbouring hotel had very loud music which finished at 10pm
We had a great 3 night stay here in January. We were pleased to have heating and hot water in the rooms. Beds were comfy, food was great. It was very central to restaurants and handy for the river. Gopal met us and was very attentive in ensuring we were comfortable. He arranged our safaris … in one day we did a dawn canoe trip (amaaaazing!!), walking safari then a jeep safari (which finished at sunset). He accompanied us on the first two outings and was wonderful at pointing out and naming the birds. He went through our photos and helped us identify other birds we had seen in Nepal using his local bird book. We were fortunate to see the rhino passing right by our wee cottage … and loved that there were a few elephants in the field at the end of the garden. We used the hammocks and also enjoyed the open fire at nights
