Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

bathroom shower.
Hotel manager Jivan Bhai and Prem bhai are very friendly they are welcoming and helpful. whenever I come back to the hotel it feels like I come back to my home. Hotel prices are very cheap.If you want to stay in Nepal for a long time it is suitable for you.

The price of the room during booking doesn't match after reaching the hotel. All the facilities/item mentioned in the post isn't available in the room.
The staff were very friendly and the service provided during the hotel stay was satisfactory. The price of the room is negotiable 😊

Toilets were a bit uncomfortable and dirty .
I liked the staff the most they were there to receive me and checked me in before my check in time I came early in the morning still they didn't me keep waiting .

The staff probably have placed very clever trap. The trap is stealing money from guest directly. We locked our room but forgot to turn off the light. When we came back the room was unlocked the light was turned off . My purse was inside the room but more than 3000 npr was missing. Within a few hours they stole. ***BEWARE THEY ARE OFFERING SUCH CHEAP RATES BECAUSE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY IF KEPT IN A LOCKED HOTEL ROOM*** ***!***!***They are denying there is no cctv only on the 3rd floor were money was stolen from both our rooms**!**!**! The same incident happed with another guest in room 306 on the same floor. His 2000 rupees was missing.
Nothing!!!!! Please be responsible for stolen money. Booking.com.stole my trip end money from which I am inside the room at the moment of review having trouble to book a bus to return home. HUGE SHAME ON BOOKING.COM . Thiefs...theives

Do not book this hotel if you arrive late at night. This hotel is not open till 24.00 against their published policy. I had pre informed them I will arrive late after/ around 23.00 due to unpredictable poor bus and road condition from besisahar, however the hotel was locked and closed when I wanted to check in around 23.30. They rejected me without any messages or prior notice. Nobody opened the door for me after the round of knocking. I was almost stranded outside around 7 C mid night. Extremely unprofessional behaviour, booking.com shall delisted them in order not to tarnish the good image of Nepal. The worst experience in my life!!!

It was all good.
I like the guys who worked there, very friendly, had time for a chat and were willing to meet my needs to the best of their ability. The rooms are pretty basic and minimalist but you would be silly to complain about it at this price. The food in the restaurant was very nice, and they did not mind my request for vegan food.

Some bathroom issues. But they will fix it for you too. Overall nice and quiet ambience.
I loved the fact that they are very amazing and customer frenly. Welcomes you with warm heart and always there to facilitate your needs. You guys should not miss staying with them. Foods are healthy too. Cheers

Bathroom was too small for bathing and water was no available at afternoon, except bathroom everything was good enough for us.
First of it was budget friendly, friendly staff, happy with service too. Food was delicious, exceptional if i say so

There is not 24h reception, and There are restriction, after 10PM everything is closed and you have to wake up staff by Phone... if you are lucky xD No western toilets.. For that price? You can get much better acomodiation at Kathmandu

The water was yellowish in color. No basin in room, the bathroom had no commode only the hole in the ground. Noisy neighbors who overcrowded their room and kept their doors open all the time.
Staff were very nice and friendly. The owner came out in the morning about 6 am to receive me as I could not locate the hotel as they had taken off the signboard for the night. Kitchen staff extremely nice and cooperative

The staff is super friendly and caring, every day when I came back to the hotel I felt like coming back home, I loved chatting with Prim and his colleagues. It was possible to check in late in the night, the rooms are clean and it's located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by real Nepalese shops and restaurants with fair prices. Best option to escape from the noisy and stressful Thamel, you can walk to the city center in 30 mins.
