I had a great stay at Vastu Boutique! The room was spacious and clean, it felt modern and nicely decorated. The area is very central and close to everything but down a side street so it’s quiet. There are lots of other hotels near by and there’s a restaurant opposite as well so it feels like a safe area, especially as a solo traveller. The staff were really welcoming and friendly and were very helpful when needed to book a taxi, do laundry and helped organise a tour.

I loved staying here! The rooms are exactly as pictured, spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and was really tasty. My favorite part of staying in Vastu was how nice and kind was the staff! They truly made me feel welcome, helped me with recommendations of places to visit in Kathmandu and also to arrange a trek on my last day. Thank you!

My wife and I stayed at Vastu Boutique for a total of 8 nights but we had originally only intended to stay 2. We had to wait for a visa for our next country and it was taking a while but luckily everyone from management to the front desk staff were extremely accommodating and helpful in letting us extend our stay each day until we got our visa! The front desk staff is ridiculously friendly, helpful, attentive with everything from local recommendations to anything we needed for the room and they were really prompt about everything! The hotel itself is really well maintained, nice, modern, clean, and comfortable. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms and it was so cozy, well lit, and comfortable that we felt like we were at home the whole time. A big plus is the TV worked well and had loads of sports channels to watch the EuroCup and the cricket World Cup in HD! Another BIG plus is the breakfast… it goes until 11 and is freshly made to order from 4 or 5 different options and the chef does a fantastic job! They also have a very nice restaurant (GravEATy) across the street so if you want something other than the breakfast options, you can go off their menu and it’s brought to the hotel for you. Same goes for lunch and dinner. Honestly, we couldn’t be any happier with the hotel, the staff, the management, and everything Vastu Boutique Hotel has to offer - do yourself a favor and book it for your stay in Kathmandu!

We liked everything.

We are very satisfied with our stay here. It's a newer hotel that's very clean and nice and ice cold air conditioning. The staff were fantastic and took care of our every need. We enjoyed sitting at their tables outside with complimentary coffee or the great breakfast. The hotel is on a quiet side street. We called it our oasis in Thamel.

A room on the 5th floor can be noisy, try to avoid that and then your stay will be perfect.

Very nice hotel, with a good location in Thamel, near restaurants and bars. Staff is very friendly and helps you with whatever you need. We booked a mountain flight through them, they arranged everything including transportation to the airport.

Very friendly and super helpful staff, they helped us a lot with useful and important insides about planning our trekking, they know a lot about the treks and how to plan them well. The hotel itsself is perfectly located in thamel, quietly in a little side alley without all the traffic , super clean and spacious rooms , great clean bathrooms as well.

Very nice hotel, great staff, they helped me organise my trek to Annapurna circuit very quickly, found a nice guide, kept my bags and were all very helpful in the team. Very nice people. They also give you a lot of advice about what to see and do in Kathmandu. They have a good restaurant right across the street. A really good choice in Kathmandu.

I highly recommend this hotel if you want to spend time in Kathmandu. It's near the centre, everything is so good also. I found the cleanliness of the room, the friendliness and the warm welcome from the owner and the staff. I was satisfied and had a very nice time here!!!

Like many roads in Kathmandu, the place is tucked in on narrow roads so very difficult for Taxis to get to. It was not too big of a problem but we would often get out of our taxis a couple blocks away on a main road and walk to the hotel when dropping us off

Location is very good. It's a quiet street in Thamel, although a bit narrow for cars or taxis to get through. The room was very nice, although the bathroom in my room was quite small (others are larger). The staff is fabulous

All the staff were super friendly and attentive. One of the owners (Sky) was always around and willing to help with literally anything we needed. From organising sight seeing to playing cards with us. Location was perfect right by Thamel. We made friends on our travels and recommend they all come stay here it was such a great experience.

Peaceful place, regardless of it being in the midst of the city. Rooms: spotless, topnotch cleanliness, adequate space, lighting, comfortable accomodations. On top of that, very hospitable staffs with effecient service. You cant ask for more at this price 😀 Highly recommended!
