The room table was a bit dirty and had a few stains clearly visible, so i steered clear from that

the view from the room was absolutely amazing. The food was also great, the people there were very friendly and helpful.

The only thing we noticed that was a little bothersome, was the amount of noise that comes in to the room from other guests in the corridor.

The best thing about this hotel is the family run, personal feel to it. The whole family are so lovely and helpful, able to advise on the local walks/treks, and will try and help in any way they can with anything you need, including offline trek maps on Komoot. The gentleman at the reception even lent my mother his personal trekking poles. The restaurant was open all day with a choice of home cooked food, all at a very good standard, with a fire pit indoors for the colder evenings.

We had a great stay here, the room was clean and the beds were so comfy with super soft sheets! The restaurant was convenient with good and affordable food. The best part was the staff though. They prodlciee information and maps for hikes, and were always responsible! I sprained my ankle whilst walking nearby and they didn't hesitate to pick us up so I could come back to the hotel, and provided ice and medicine. They are very kind and hospitable people. Unfortunately, there was severe pollution whilst we were there, and we didn't see any mountains, and could barely see 100m away at times. It was uncomfortable to be outside breathing the air.. Obviously this is not the property's fault, but just something to be aware of.

Really clean, great shower, right near the sunrise point. Food was amazing. Owner comes to pick you up from the bus stop and gave us lifts to and from the little town as and when we asked for them

A little noise from wood yard next door during the day. Otherwise nothing.

Lovely comfortable bed and hot shower (rare in Nepal usually tepid). A nice hotel in rural location. 20 minute uphill walk to village shops etc. 5 minute walk to view sunrise (well worth seeing). Owner wil advise for walks ranging 1 hour to 4 hours, some you can just get bus back up. Also roof terrace for sun and hanging washing if needed. Suggest use InDrive app for taxi to and from. I paid 800 to Bhaktapur, 900 up to Nagarkot and 1400 back to Kathmandu 1hr 20min. The buses take ages.

Bathroom was a bit small. The hot water was a bit iffy. Didn't get hot water on the first night but we showered during the day the next late morning and it had hot water.

Peaceful area. A bit away from the village where the tourists hotels/restaurants/buses were but not a far walk. They dropped us off at the village when we were leaving and helped with transportation back to KTM. They also lent us a small heater for the cold evenings and that helped.

Our stay in Nagarkot was a complete success. The accommodation is beautifully located and the family is incredibly nice, hospitable and helpful. Our host provided us with Komoot maps for the hikes in Nagarkot, which was super helpful for the best possible hiking experience. The hotel has its own restaurant. The dishes are a mix of traditional Nepalese dishes and international food. Everything is freshly prepared and super tasty. About the rooms: they are equipped with the essentials. The beds are very soft and comfortable. There is also hot (really hot, not just warm) water. We also had a super nice view over the valley.

I liked everything

Loved the location, my room had beautiful natural light, a small balcony and a direct view of the famous Nagarkot sunrise. Also just 5 minutes walking from a panoramic view of the Himalayas which was a perfect spot to see the sun come up. The hosts were super accommodating, and helped with everything I needed throughout my stay. It was very peaceful.

Location was a little bit difficult and the bathroom was a little outdated.

Near to sunrise. Can view sunrise from roof also. Good hospitality by owners who are personally involved in their business. Since they knew about both India and local area, they guided us to the best places. This was of great help. In-house food was good. We enjoyed our stay there.

Hot water was not hot enough

The room was clean and the hotel provided shampoo and conditioner as well as tooth brush. The receptionist was very helpful and provided guidance on treks

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was a flawless experience from start to finish. Exceptional stay!! Stayed there for 2 nights, and it was so nice and comforting. The view from the bed, the few minutes walking distance view pointl, the delicious food from the restaurant and more important the family owning this place. The owner offers different types of services, trekking, tours, taxi service...etc There is a heater in the room so it was very nice, remind me french winter vibe 😀.
