Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. Incredible staff do anything to help. Allowed a late checkout as I was unwell with food poisoning. Did everything they could to make me comfortable

I highly recommend you Yambu Hotel. It is great value for money. The owner - Raj, as well as all the team are extremelly helpful with everything - not only with the hotel things but all the needs we had while staying there (including some health problems). You will not find a better place to stay in Kathmandu for such a good price!

Staff were always very helpful. I particular, when I showed up after failing to get a flight to Lukla, 2 days running. There was no fuss and I was able to get an exceptional room twice at the same rate I paid earlier for with Booking.com

Fantastic place, highly recommended!! Great staff, perfect location and very spacy rooms. We worked remotely and the wifi worked fine. Nice rooftop and good breakfast. Very good recommendations by the staff, always kind and attentive. We would definitely come back.

Hotel Yambu in Kathmandu is such a gem! Right in the middle of Thamel, it’s close to everything but still manages to feel like a peaceful retreat. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfy beds and nice hot showers – exactly what I needed after a long day exploring. The room has everything. The decor has this cool blend of traditional Nepali style with modern touches, making it feel both homey and unique. The best part is the staff; they’re super friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need, even helping arrange tours and giving tips on the best places to visit. The hot breakfast every morning is also nice and delicious. I will definitely come back again if I visit Nepal!

Some things were just a little tired- our aircon didn’t really work and it was hard to work the lock on our door- however these are minor issues and I’m sure the staff would have helped if we’d asked
Good place to stay near the centre! Our room had a bath and there was a nice outdoor space. Staff were really friendly and helpful and breakfast was nice- loved the fresh fruit

The mattress tended to firmness, which many people will like, but not me. Sorted out by the addition of a nice thick duvet on the mattress.
Excellent value for money, clean, in a great location, and warmly welcoming. I came to really like this place. The senior staff in particular went out of their way to help, going far above and beyond the call of simple duty. The rescue of a missing earring down the sink and the offer of help with transport on the last morning were both particularly appreciated. I will be back.

Extremally helpfull and friendly stuff, they provided To us great introduction into Nepali world. Good breakfast, great transfer from the airport. We decided to go back to Yambu afer our trek. Very close to thamel, but in much more quiet Area.

The staff was very kind and generous. Help was never a problem. We had to stay an extra day, and they made it work. Also helped with some kathmandu site seeing trips. Excellent stay.

Central location, easy walk to central thamel, but hotel is very quiet. A litte oasis. Incredibly kind and welcoming team. Communication throughout booking process with was excellent, with prompt replies to queries. Rooms were spacious, beds very comfortable and showers hot. Wifi strong and breakfast filling. Raj and his team are available, knowledgeable and ready to help as needed.

Nothing much. Maybe a slight renovation of some equipment and furniture.
I was quite surprised by the quality of services proposed by Hotel Yambu. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff that are always available. High speed internet. An unbeatable quality/price ratio. Very good location. A free pick-up at the airport. A super nice and reactive manager. Cheap taxi service 24/7. What can I say more? I shall surely come back.!

Superb location in a very quiet alley close to a very big tree . Very well ventilated rooms and breakfast has lots of varieties..it is almost like brunch and is served from 7 am to 10 AM . Presence of owner Mr. Raj and his brother Mr. Rajendra on the property gives personal touch Both the brothers are very friendly and helpful to take care of your travel needs and money exchange.with good rates .

Everything was perfect
The location was amazing, right next to plenty of bars and shops. It’s a cute little hotel with lovely rooms. The staff are beyond amazing! So helpful, so lovely, very eager to help out and even sorted taxis for me to and from the airport. Il definitely stay again, great hotel.
