The owner - Raj, as well as all the team are extremelly helpful with everything - not only with the hotel things but all the needs we had while staying there (including some health problems). You will not find a better place to stay in Kathmandu for such a good price!

United StatesHotel Yambu in Kathmandu is such a gem! Right in the middle of Thamel, it’s close to everything but still manages to feel like a peaceful retreat. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfy beds and nice hot showers – exactly what I needed after a long day exploring. The room has everything. The decor has this cool blend of traditional Nepali style with modern touches, making it feel both homey and unique. The best part is the staff; they’re super friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need, even helping arrange tours and giving tips on the best places to visit. The hot breakfast every morning is also nice and delicious. I will definitely come back again if I visit Nepal!

United KingdomThe mattress tended to firmness, which many people will like, but not me. Sorted out by the addition of a nice thick duvet on the mattress.
Excellent value for money, clean, in a great location, and warmly welcoming. I came to really like this place. The senior staff in particular went out of their way to help, going far above and beyond the call of simple duty. The rescue of a missing earring down the sink and the offer of help with transport on the last morning were both particularly appreciated. I will be back.

Central location, easy walk to central thamel, but hotel is very quiet. A litte oasis. Incredibly kind and welcoming team. Communication throughout booking process with was excellent, with prompt replies to queries. Rooms were spacious, beds very comfortable and showers hot. Wifi strong and breakfast filling. Raj and his team are available, knowledgeable and ready to help as needed.

I was quite surprised by the quality of services proposed by Hotel Yambu. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff that are always available. High speed internet. An unbeatable quality/price ratio. Very good location. A free pick-up at the airport. A super nice and reactive manager. Cheap taxi service 24/7. What can I say more? I shall surely come back.!
