There's no elevator and our room was on the 5th Floor. Hence, had trouble climbing stairs.

I loved their customer service, i.e., the hotel staff & owner were more than perfect!!

I didn't like how my bed felt tight and uncomfortable, how there were no batteries in the remote control and how parts in room had dust and in wall something looked cracked. One of the managers said bed will be looked into, but seems nothing was done of it or I not moved elsewhere.

I really liked the friendly, genuine and hardworking staff and how it near shops, restaurants and other places. The managers and other staff are golden and take time to know you.

Raj and his staff are all very friendly, always eager to help. Hotel has a great location, down a quieter side street but 5 minutes from all the action in Thamel.

It is the best place in Thamel. Located in a dead end road, so there is little to no traffic and threrfore quiet. The hotel is clean and so are the rooms. The personal is always friendly and helpful. Everything you need can easily be organized and works out perfectly

Great stay in this Hotel. Very central and good location. Especially the staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange also transport to the Annapurna Circuit (Besisahar) and even our bags to Pokhara. Breakfast was also good with yoghurt, granola, eggs and pancakes. Recommended stay!

A very nice Hotel with an always friendly athmosphere. A very good breakfast was served. The room was kept simple but very cozy. Raj was always there to help us with a taxi, a transfer or an advice. The location of the hotel in Thamel is just excellent to start with tours of sightseeing. We really appreciated our stay there! And we really can recommend Hotel Yambu!

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travelled with one three year olds and lots of luggage and despite the stairs up to the elevator this was one of the nicest places we stayed in the two days in Nepal. It was sort trip we will go again there.

No issues, it’s not the quietest part of the city but Thamel is a really convenient place to stay.

Hotel Yambu has really friendly, helpful staff who organised a day tour for me and also helped me with my onward journey. They are keen to offer advice on local food and practical things. The room was clean and had everything I needed, including air con, en suite, a desk and wardrobe. Very good value. Offered free airport pickup.

The room had everything that I needed- hot water in the shower, great location and super comfortable bed. What made this hotel extra special was the really kind and helpful owner and his staff. Everyone went above and beyond to be helpful and I felt super safe leaving my laptop in the room.
