After completing our 5 week trip touring New Zealand this property is by far the absolute best place we stayed! Brin and Biddy were wonderful hosts. The apartment was great. The beach was fabulous. Napier is a lovely city. Enjoyed every moment of it.

Everything was perfect! Can’t think of anything to change or improve!

This place was absolutely perfect! Very quaint but extremely well equipped room and bath. The owners were so pleasant and seemed genuinely interested in us and our travels in NZ. The unit was spotless and had all the little touches and amenities that you don’t always see in a hotel or other B&Bs. Only wish we had another day or 2 there! Maybe next trip?

Brin and Biddy made us feel very welcome in their comfortable annex which included a wide choice of breakfast items. We also used their bikes to cycle to Mission Winery for wine tasting. The property is beachfront so if you like a morning swim they have a warm outside shower. A Great stay!

The property is located 8km from the CBD. Nevertheless it is an easy drive and there are bicycles available to ride into town or on the extensive track network.

This is a clean well equipped studio. It is airy, has a comfy bed and a good shower. The studio is located on the street side of the property , but access is available to an extensive beachfront deck, hot tub and the beach itself. There is also a patio and garden outside the unit, which is also used by the owners to access their residence. The owners were especially friendly and helpful.

Brin & Biddy have worked hard to get this to be a special place to stay. So welcoming and very relaxing.They have thought of everything with little personal touches that add to the experience . Side door leads to the beach & hot tub in back garden. It’s a short drive from centre of Napier but we used their bikes; thank- you. Alas the weather wasn’t great & didn’t see it at a very best but the hot tub after a cycle ride back in a gale with a g&t was !!

Location was good with a walk through the garden onto the stony beach Chalet we were in very clean , well appointed and comfortable Breakfast supplies were very good. Hosts very welcoming and informative.

My only minor suggestion would be to have a queen instead of full bed, when you are 6' and 190lbs sharing the full w/ spouse makes things a bit tight :)

Very nice apartment separate from the rest of the hosts house. Good hot tub overlooking the ocean! Super friendly hosts who really care about you and your stay. Breakfast was left in the room, cold options but with good coffee. Convenient to the whole Napier area but outside of it a bit so quieter and more relaxed. They had bikes for use as there are trails all over.

Booking.com had the accommodation listed as two rooms. But when we got there, it was only a studio. Buy it was a lovely studio. You should do better than this Booking.com

We had a lovely few days staying in the studio unit. Brin and Biddy were wonderful - very friendly and hospitable, and we had some nice chats and a few wines on the deck out front overlooking the beach. The studio had everything we needed, and the breakfast fixings were spot on for us - cereals, toast, tea and coffee. It's on the ground floor on the street side of the house, with the front courtyard and beach on the other side easily accessible by going out a private side door and along a short path. I very much enjoyed, and photographed, sunrises and skyscapes from the beach. The location was perfect for us, as most of our activities were either around the Bay View and Eskdale area, or on the northern side of Napier.

Brin & Biddy are super friendly and welcoming hosts and the location on the beachfront is superb. I wish I had time to use the spa but I was super busy as I was in town for a wedding. I'll be back to stay again in future!

Minimal breakfast for 2 people, room was a bit tired. If you intend to do the local wineries, be prepared that most are closed early in the week.

Great location when the sun is shining, not so good when the wind is blowing and raining. Friendly hosts who provided some good local recommendations.
