Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Very nice hostel. The staff is more than helpful, rooms are pretty and clean, beds are comfortable and soft. Curtains for privacy and everything you need close to the bed. The best common area plus kitchen with all the equipment you need. Bathrooms are super nice with maximum privacy. Location right in the middle of town. I recommend for sure Thank you

Dorms beds have privacy curtains, plugs and lamps. Shelves and under bed storage in each dorm (but not lockable). Fab kitchen and dining area. Comfy lounge with a good book shelf for book exchange and TV. Very sociable hostel but option to do your own (quiet) things too.

The main door is a little finicky and I once failed to enter the door code correctly for it to open despite having the number right.
Great location (central but not too loud), excellent pod beds with power & shelf & lots of storage for luggage, larger room with ensuite bathroom (in addition to hallway bathrooms), large enough kitchen, overall fun/chill vibe.

I made a booking for multiple people. One of my friends came later than the rest of the group and the staff couldn't confirm his booking without us being present.
The property was clean. The beds were new and had sturdy frames, which did not make much sound while tossing around. There were enough toilets and showers available. We were given towels and there was soap in the showers. The staff was kind and helpful. One of the staff members, Adam, even made me popcorn while we were watching a movie in the lounge. The location of the property is very central. There was a lift in the building. I would stay there again.

All dorm doors are fire doors so bang shut but hey.. nothing you can do about following fire regulations!!! Wear earplugs and you’ll be fine…
Bunk beds are fixed and each bunk has curtain, plug and light. Staff were really welcoming and friendly. There’s something on every night, which you can join in , or opt out if… fab location… right by intercity bus stop and round corner from town centre shops and cafes.

There was a tap in the bathroom that would not shut and water was running and being wasted. I was there for three days and was nit fixed till I left.
Excellent location . Staff very friendly and well informed. Bed super comfortable and also liked the showers.

I was in the room next to the kitchen and reception. It is quite noisy during dinner but after dinner they also do a quiz night or something. I was scared at first but I have to say that they close the kitchen at 11 pm so it was always quiet after that which was a big plus.
Very good and central location. Next to the Intercity bus stop. Very friendly personnel. Good kitchen and everything clean. Good beds with a curtain and all quiet at night.

When I showered at 6am for a tour the water was cold :(

There were no areas to lock items in the rooms, but I understand that they have a separate locker room so that there is 24/7 surveillance so I still felt like my valuables were safe.
Everything was very clean, and I liked that there were bathroom options where you could have a shower and toilet to yourself. Great location and easy access to lockers.

Kitchen was too crowded. Closed at night (maybe because there is a room next to it?)
