This place was beautiful, comfortable and located within a short distance to town. Out of the 16 places we stayed this was our absolute favourite. The spa great after a long day sightseeing.

Breakfast was wonderful and the views from the dining room outstanding. We loved the garden and using the jacuzzi. Everything was just so perfect and Mike went above and beyond to ensure our stay was fabulous.

Location fantastic! View from the balcony, magnificent! Room large and very comfy. The Stressless chairs enabled several memorable naps over the 3 days we were there!!!! Location great for exploring local area and so much to do and see. Mike is a great host and a font of so much knowledge about the area. Good breakfast and excellent chats over breakfast, very relaxed and informal. Excellent value for money.

Everything in Mike’s place was wonderfully well put together and completely comfortable. Also a nice location with no discernible traffic noise just a short distance away from Paihia. Mike was a brilliant and personable host and we enjoyed our conversations whilst he served our breakfast. He also helped us from his local knowledge to plan great days out. Would 100% recommend

Excellent host, he was absolutely amazing, we totally enjoyed our time at Baywaterviews because of our host, he made sure that we had everything we needed, he even helped us with our luggage, and made sure my husband (who is partially disabled due to having had a stroke), was comfortable, he provided special treatment for my husband ensuring accessibility was easier for him. Our host cooked us delicious breakfasts.The property/unit was so very clean, with excellent furnishings and presentation. Thank you so much to our host and his cute dog.

The room was spacious, very comfortable with a beautiful view of the bay and river. Mike, our host, was super hospitable, friendly and full of helpful information. Breakfast was outstanding and very generous, including a full cooked breakfast. The location is very close to important sites, the bay and restaurants etc

The accommodation and facilities were exactly as described. Comfortable and spacious room, wonderful view. Breakfast was beautifully presented and very tasty. Mike provided details with map about location and access to local attractions, suggestions for day trips, cost of ferries to Russell. He is a great host. We enjoyed great conversations with him.

The accommodation is just a five-minute drive from town, making it very convenient if you have a car. Without one, it's a hilly 45-minute walk to the centre of Paihia. That said, Mike generously offered to drive us into town whenever we needed, which was greatly appreciated.

Mike was an outstanding host - welcoming, generous with his time, and full of excellent recommendations for exploring the Bay of Islands. He ensured our stay was comfortable by keeping our room spotless clean and serving a lovely breakfast each morning. The balcony view was a highlight of our stay. Highly recommend!

Mike was a brilliant host. Super friendly and went to a great effort to point out the highlights of the area. Rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. Lovely spot with a stunning view out over the Waitangi grounds.

Everything. Location and view is amazing. Very neat and clean kept. Breakfast was good. The entire guidance and being able to discuss everything with Mike was great.

Despite the bad weather, we enjoyed our stay here. Mike was a great host and helped us with possible things to do. The private hot tub in the evening was perfect to end the day. Mike also prepared a fresh breakfast for us every morning. The place is just a few minutes by car from shopping/restaurants/beach and amazing nature (and waterfalls).

Mike was great. Really attentive and very friendly. Told me about all the places I should visit in the area and how best to get there. I was in the upstairs apartment which had an amazing view. It’s lovely and quiet here but not too far from the hustle of Paihia which is about a 4km walk/drive away. I walked in and out every time I went into town.

Mike was a lovely host - very knowledgeable about the area and patient. The location is simply stunning. We arrived to a brilliant rainbow from the deck. We had a very short time here and had to leave earlier than planned, but it made our brief stopover in NZ absolutely worth it. Would love to spend more time here in the future. There was nothing to not like. If I really wanted to be picky I could have brought my own pillow. Due to neck surgery I have a special pillow. Nothing to do with our B&B.

Fresh fruit , muesli , orange Juice , Tea Coffee, cooked to order break fast. Mike an amazing host . Very knowledgeable on the area . Best place ever stayed at.
