The house was ok but the location of the apartment was around the side of the house with a very uneven unfinished access to the kitchen walking on porcelain tiles placed on the stone front yard is an accident just waiting to happen I would not recommend this place to stay till the front path is installed also the noise coming from the owners of house is very loud obviously the house has not been built to accommodate for paying guests with no sound proofing between the residence and the apartment and obviously no approval from local authorities for the access to the apartment

The accommodation was perfect. Beautiful new house with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. Clean bathroom, hairdryer, fridge, storage room, washing machine available. Perfect for two people to rent. The owners were friendly, showed us our part of the house and then we didn't know each other. We were here for one night, but if we had stayed longer I would have been annoyed that there was no place to sit outside on the terrace when the weather was nice, even though the space would have allowed it. For a trip nearby we recommend shelly beach. The location of the house is close to the airport, ideal for relaxing before departure or after arrival.

I like thick curtains. I don't like blinds because they're not good enough insulation against noise, temperature shift, nor especially -- for me -- light.

The children can be heard on occasion, but nothing more than other children these days. The blinds in the bedroom let in light, which was easily over-come with my eye-cover.

It's a beautiful new house with traditional-styled furniture, personal touches, up to date brushed gold hardware, with marble-look flooring and counters. The kitchen was quite adequate. There are easy to open windows, but there was an A/C /heater. The hosts are very nice with very young children. There was plenty of room to park. The neighbourhood is very safe and quiet.

I ironed my shirt on a very small fold away ironing board. Perhaps a free standing larger ironing board would have made ironing easier. I didn't like the smell of the pear hand soap. Probably a small thing and personal preference.

Warm and comfortable, good shower, wardrobe and kitchen facilities. It was close to the Beachlands shops. Beautiful Beach's and a nice place to base ourselves.

It was, what I would describe as, a Granny Flat (totally self-contained with separate entrance) attached to someone's house. It had very pleasant decor and felt very homely. It was bright and airy and appeared to be freshly painted. The bathroom seemed all new and was spacious. It was very clean and very well maintained. Would I stay there again? Definitely!!

Everything was great.

This was a lovely little place in Beachlands. Very clean, comfortable bed, nice shower and good wifi. Everything was great and I would certainly stay here again in the future and make use of the direct ferry in Auckland from the nearby harbour.

Pretty much nothing. The only little issue was, that we had to carry our bags to the door instead of pulling them, because the path is still a little in construction, but the owner said that'll be fixed with time :)

Mostly teething issues since the property has just been built - we worked around them with the host's help. Also, we didn't receive the automated email explaining how we might get on the WiFi.

Very new and spotlessly clean. The owner was very helpful, showing me how to use the washing machine and brought me a clothes horse so I could dry my clothes outside. Close to supermarket and a pub and short drive to pine harbour to get the ferry to the city.
