Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing. This motel is exceptional.
This very comfortable and well located property gives 5 star service and has 5 star amenities . Would never stay anywhere else in Dunedin.

The noise from the emergency helicopter landing at the hospital was noticeable but it did seem to stop when we went to bed so did not end up being a disturbance. I saw that the room had complementary ear plugs just in case, but were not needed.
From the monogramed pillow cases to the luxury blankets and every amenity you could wish for, the room was fantastic. We loved the platter that we could get delivered to our room, which we enjoyed with the bubbles in the mini-fridge. I didn't have time to try the spa bath, but I will be back for sure - wouldn't want to stay anywhere else now.

This place was lovely, very clean, modern, service was outstanding, very friendly host, the bed was good the shower pressure was good, was in walking distance to cafes and shops. Would highly recommended this place to stay at very welcoming, can’t fault anything, well done to the staff and cleaners that do an outstanding job

Tasteful, comfortable and warm - beautiful property. We would stay again. Public areas were warm and welcoming. The staff were lovely and gave good recommendations for dining. The bathroom had the most amazing shower head I have ever experienced!

Would have liked access to Chromecast/Google TV over the Sky TV access. It wasn't clear if the heater could be turned off.
The apartment was beautifully situated, placed high up on the hill, looking out over Port Chalmers. Walking distance to everything. Easy to check-in, easy to get bags into our room, easy to relax in the room. A huge spa bath and incredible shower was fantastic.

Water pressure too high on sink caused splashes....Haha had to really stop and think in detail to find such a huge issue. NO really the place was absolutely perfect. Previous stay was at Hotel St Clair and this place is superior in every way.
Everything was modern and exceptionally well looked after. Room Presentation and finishing were perfect. Well thought out rooms with everything in the correct place. Place was 100% in every respect. This will be our go to place now when in Dunedin

We are elderly , I’m 167 cm and found the beautiful deep bath very high to get into to use the shower over the bath. It’d be perfectly fine for more supple folk. I understand there are other rooms with walk in showers but they weren’t available. A table to eat at would be welcome.

If elderly the shower over lovely spa bath would not be good.

Spa bath is fantastic after a day at the hospital and shopping... walking distance to the hospital and city center is great 👍
So clean, comfortable, warm, and quiet for being in the city. The grounds so well presented I loved the outside areas. The staff are great and amazing cleaners A+ for their wonderful work. Would recommend to all.
