We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

New ZealandI was initially overcharged for my room when I called the front desk I was told by Wayne Hugo to call booking.com despite having confirmation via email of the cost. When I brought this up then Wayne asked me to forward the email to him. No one called me back. I had to follow it up myself. I did room service and condiments that are meant to be with the order were missing. I rang them and they Said they would send it up no one did. My room didn't have the coffee pod machine. I asked for it. They said they'll send it up but no one did. However whenever you approach a staff member they are very friendly and approachable in general. I appreciate that.
I like how easy they make everything when checking in. Also, how clean the rooms and facilities are. I absolutely appreciated the spa, swimming pool, sauna, steam room. I like how staff are constantly monitoring and cleaning.

SwedenI liked everything about this hotel and this is just suggestion on areas of improvement . The pool area is sometimes understaffed and this is because the distance from the kitchen and pool is large so it takes time for food to get delivered from one part of the hotel to another. The pool staff were also great and always friendly even though there running around in the heat. So important to increase staff at pool area so they can take more breaks. Lifeguard at pool is very attentive and watching the pool like a hawk, so no one will drown on his watch. He too did a great job and important he also takes regular breaks when standing on his feet all day in the heat. These are just minor areas that could be worked on to improve staffs’ work environment, which will pay pay off in the long run.
We loved this hotel so much that we extended our stay with 4 nights! Hotel is located on 2nd floor and sunny all day long, which is important for us sun deprived Scandinavians. Staff is friendly, attentive and yet relaxed. We never had to wait long to get served or grab staffs’ attention. Staff acknowledged guests with simple gestures of a nod, smile or hello making everyone feel welcomed. The relaxed atmosphere at the hotel indicates “good enough” working environment for staff, something I find important as a clinical psychologist. This is the reason I have given this hotel top rating on all areas and also first time I have ever written such a detailed and personal review! There was no over pretentiousness I have experienced in other 5 stars hotels, something important when travelling with kids that haven’t mastered dining etiquettes as adults and can be over energetic at times. The bar manager (English man from London), restaurant manager, Executive chef Volker and reception manager Rajat were all professional and down to earth. Volker took the time to speak to guests and made sure breakfast was top quality. Bar manager went out of his way to help us charge our European mobile chargers. Rajat took his time to patiently explain my billing itinerary I didn’t understand and never showed signs of frustration, something I have experienced at other five star hotels where attitude is guests who want to understand details of hotel bills weren’t 5 stars guests. Hotel was immaculately clean, beds super comfortable, even the extra bed put into our room for my 9 year old was comfortable enough for me to sleep on, which I have never experienced at any other hotel. The restaurant Eight served the best seafood I have ever tasted living up to New Zealand’s reputation of great food. I like it that staff kept refilling guests’ glasses of water without having to ask for it.

New ZealandThe staff started knocking and entering the room themselves right after I had checked in. I wasn't dressed and was calling to wait, but the guy had already entered. He was there to put water and check if the room was restocked. This should be done beforehand to minimize distubance to guests. I was in a rush to go to an event so didn't tell front desk but staff shouldn't be coming on the day of check-in unless specifically asked or to make up the room. It's a breach of privacy and I don't always remember to put the do not disturb sign immediately after coming in.
Nice spacious room with good pool views. Bedding was clean and very comfortable. Aircon was working well and there was easy access from the side for late night entry. Didn't get time to check out other facilities but overall a good stay.

New ZealandGym needs more regular cleaning, as is used by a lot of guests, including us every morning. Another option for breakfast please- too expensive, too busy, and would be good to be able to get eggs on toast for example, but not pay $45. Inconvenient to always have to drive to a cafe.
Great staff, who are coping with huge crowds of people. Simple room service dinner was well priced. Nespresso coffee machine 👍 and comfortable room with opening windows 😊
