On checkin, i was greeted with warm and friendly and I felt very welcomed. Room was clean and comfortable, and I was impressed with all aspects of the room, lovely products in shower I loved the spa facilities, gym was incredible. room service, meals were exceptional

We got a cheaper room which was really nice but quite dark and small. Maybe to be expected at the cheaper end.

I think the Domestic Staff could have done better because they let down the whole hotel. No attention to detail .The restocking after the last client wasn't done, in the bathroom with towels and toiletries. Plus on the 2nd day I had to chase the room cleaners down to get coffee and sugar as there was only 1 coffee and sugar when I arrived the 1st day.

Bathroom wa average, shower was hard to get to work properly, and the sink plug wouldn't stay down, really annoying when trying to shave. Also when using the car valet system, no-one came and told me my car was parked outside

Buffet breakfast was outstanding, lots of choice and very nice. Room was clean and big enough, bed was comfy.

From the moment we arrived the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help us. It was our son’s birthday and we arrived to balloons on the bed and a wee note with some chocolates for him. The buffet breakfast is also amazing, we have a child with a dairy and egg allergy and when asked the chef went out of his way to make pancakes for him which made his day! Absolutely recommend, we look forward to our next stay at The Cordis!

No negatives to report - we loved our stay.

All staff were welcoming and friendly. The communication service was great. We were allowed to check in early, which was so helpful, very grateful for that. We had room service for breakfast - very reasonably priced and delicious! Kids loved the pools and nice that the main pool was heated. Great hotel experience with family and appreciated the staff making everything so comfortable and easy for us. We look forward to staying again! Thank you!

The price for the parking and how long it took for the car to come

The heated pool & spa and the big fluffy towels and robes. The in-room dining meals were tasty and huge portions.

$55 valet parking per night is rather steep, especially with the amount that’s already being paid for the room and that the other closest parking option is an uncovered/unmonitored Wilson parking lot (not the safest place to park in Auckland CBD)
