Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Not spotlessly clean but for one night it didn’t matter too much. Small room so if you have a lot of luggage it fills up quickly! Didn’t feel like we got good value for money in the price that we paid.

The short walk from the airport was not the case. The roadwork could have made it much longer for me. Perhaps more explicit instructions could be given in the future.
Being close to the airport was a bonus, especially before a long flight. I had a quiet room, and coffee and tea were provided. I found the room spacious; the bed super comfortable

Woman on the desk was pretty rude, just filtered us all in like cattle and was not welcoming. I get it’s a budget hotel but would still be nice to be greeted instead of just getting asked “you alright?” And not much else, little to joke about interaction. Another couple also commented on this with us in the lift! Rooms are very small, smaller than we thought but again I understand it’s budget

Room is slightly tight for space with big cases, and certainly if you were a couple.
Great location, close to "Yellow shuttle bus" delivering to all airport terminals. Comfy beds and good bathroom. Had all necessary facilities such as coffee, fridge etc... Nearby restuarants and shops were nice and easy to visit.

Main room with 2 single beds was too small. Better suited for a double bed. Only suited for cabin bags & not for suitcases. Not designed for a comfortable stay.

It is not somewhere to stay as a base for anything longer than a layover in my opinion
This hotel is minutes from the airport and is fine for an overnight stay. The room was clean and comfortable enough without being fancy. There is a good bar/restaurant next door. It was surprisingly quiet at night

There aren't any particular issues that come to mind.
This is a budget hotel within walking distance of the Auckland Airport domestic and international terminals, but there is also a relatively inexpensive shuttle bus available. The hotel provided details of this after I confirmed my booking. The reception is staffed 24hrs/day, and there were no issues getting me to my room. I arrived rather late, and was upgraded, although I wasn't really there long enough to appreciate the extra room. Overall, everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly, the staff I dealt with were pleasant, quick and efficient about their work, and helpful with the couple of questions that I did have. The room was simple, clean, tidy and the bed comfortable. Having coffee available in the reception area while waiting for the shuttle bus was really appreciated.
