Best rooms were booked out had to accept a lesser standard room but it was my choice - potential guests should be aware that the accommodation is more like basic back packers - walk down hallway to toilet shower lounge and tea making facilities.

The location was great - in the middle of town next to a supermarket able to walk to any cafe sights - great to sit on the upperbalcony and watch the worldgoby.

Very basic, we knew this at the time of booking so no surprises. Shared bathroom. Sink in bedroom was badly cracked.

The night bar lady short hair very rude, obviously it was our first time staying and headed back to our room not quiet understanding how to get back to the main stairway inside, we obviously opened the wrong door by accident and was yelled at by her to outside and go in that way. Also upon arrival we asked 2 different staff where we go to check in, one said go to the other bar we then was told by another staff that he was just a cook and couldn't help.

You need to be prepared for a bit of noise if you have a front room, with people out on the terrace in front both late evening and early morning. The facilities and decor are a bit of a throwback to hotels of 50 years ago and are in need of modernisation.

It's a great location right in the centre of Raglan, with several bars which were very lively on the Friday night we arrived. Although the room was small the beds were comfortable.

Celebrated nye 2025 awesome masquerade party got to meet the band tasman az we all started up stairs got to meet Pete, Mark Luke and James they dedicated a song to us my partner Shona and I had a great night. Started with a parade by Raglan locals and we were up on the balcony so we had the best view it set the mood for the night my first NY I've actually been up at midnight. Eria

Check in a bit confused and unclear instructions at check in. Location ok, not easy walking distance from town or check in location. Some lack of privacy - not apparent from booking that the studio is a flat downstairs from someone else’s home. Not much soundproofing.

Lovely old building. Veranda at the front of the accommodation was excellent for sitting and watching people. The bed was comfortable. Room was a good size. Food and the restaurant was excellent we had dinner there.

There was a really loud banging coming from outside my room somewhere in the hotel all night so I didn't sleep a wink. I think it was a window. it was the nosiest place I have ever stayed
