We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

New ZealandIt would have been lovely to have 4 towels as there were four of us staying as well as some facecloths. There was no toaster which we have never experienced staying somewhere without one and would have been handy but we did use the oven instead to toast the toast so not a huge loss. There was a lot going on and was loud with people talking, beeping horns towards midnight so didn't get much sleep.
Location was good as we were 5mins up the road from where we were going. Shower was great. Staff was lovely very welcoming. Had milk, tea and coffee which was nice. Bed was super comfy to sleep on. Had access to netflix so was lovely to watch movies with our 2 boys and get them settled.

New ZealandBoth hot plates faulty, one not working at all. Not one cooking utensil, not even a serving spoon.. Only one very large saucepan to cook in, no frypan . No dish drainer, dishcloth, brush or tea towel to wash or dry dishes. A table but no chairs. Room smelt of very stale cooking odours. No hair-dryer.
Bed and bath linen was crisp and clean. Kitchenette was.modern.

New ZealandNothing I didn't like just a comment to maybe put a hand towel, and bath mat in the room for the guests. My room didn't provide either which I found a bit odd.
Nice spacious room with great amenities. Took me a bit to figure out how to watch the TV. Wasn't able to sus getting tv channels but there was Netflix available. Liked that the room had a USB internal charging port next to the bed. Bed was really comfortable.

New ZealandThere was no remote for the TV. I informed the staff who gave me another TV to use however tried logging onto Netflix and my sign in would not work and yet I use Netflix frequently. When I went to cook my dinner both of the knobs on the stove hob were broken and I had to fidget with them just to turn the stove on. What should have taken me 5 minutes to cook my dinner took me an hour. Suggest rooms are checked after guests leave and before guests arrived to make sure everything is in order.
The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
