1)nearby the Auckland Airport (driving distance) 2)The hotel attendant was helpful and available even though we arrived late at night after having dinner outside. 3)We had our breakfast in the morning with the splendid view next to the dinning area. 4)The breakfast was simple yet healthy but it is enough to keep me full until dinner. 5)I loved the cappuccino.

It was a bit loud at night. I had a very early flight and was kept awake by the people walking around upstairs. I could hear every footstep.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel was absolutely spotless.

Constant noise well after midnight in the entire corridor my room was in loud shouting phones constantly ringing doors constantly slamming. Bloody rude people in adjacent rooms and there are supposed to be hotel rules about noise control. I left too early to complain

No included transport to/from airport. You have to buy bus tickets and rely on them. Off peak Uber was the same price for 2. Only 1 restaurant within walking distance. Hotel “restaurant” not really one.

Most uncomfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. Felt like you are lying directly on the slats. Towels were thin and scratchy, carpet stained and pillows thin.

It's a perfectly acceptable airport hotel in an industrial area, no on site restaurant (just a basic breakfast area) or much in the way of facilities but it met our need for a clean reasonably comfortable night in (fair) proximity to the airport, which is no doubt what pretty well everyone staying here wants. Warm welcome from amiable receptionist, no surprises except a particularly terrible breakfast and there is a acceptable restaurant (The Post Office) within walking distance,

There wasn't enough seating for breakfast so sat in the lobby area. When we were situated with our food and drink, we were asked to move which was inconvenient. The food was adequate.

The container yard next door was a problem they load and unload at night which on my particular stay was noisy

After staying at this property previously I booked my son in as a first time solo traveller. There was an error on my booking.com app which didn’t show my booking a month later. I emailed the hotel to check my booking - no response. So I booked again thinking I must have made a mistake first time round. Then, my card was charged twice on the time of the booking. I was in personal contact with reception who was amazing. However, between booking.com and the manager I was not refunded the second booking after they all agreed that there was a system error.

It was a debacle using the yellow bus to get there. The first bus was wouldn't wait 1 minute for us to grab a ticket, the next bus was full and wouldn't take us. The 3rd bus took us but was filled with people who had cases everywhere and so disorganized it was difficult for people getting off. The bed was uncomfortable, too hard and very little cushioning on top. The fridge in our room was very loud and cut in every 30 minutes. There is a truck base next door which was very noisy and we could hear every movement in the hallway and room next door, including the shower. It feels like there is no noise barrier between the rooms which is not great when all you need is a decent sleep.

Staff were great, room was clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was good and the bus back to the airport the next morning was good.

The dinner was pretty grim. I ordered lasagne but wasn't homemade, looked like it was a frozen meal that had been microwaved which was a shame. I was in on New Years day so didn't have as many options for delivery and it's a bit of a walk to shops.

Bedroom was nice and clean. Table and chairs for eating at and a tv with good channels. Close to the airport with an $8 bus to collect and drop off at the entrance so handy. Breakfast was nice. Simple spread.

The rooms have NO LOCKS on the inside? Is this normal in NZ for safety reasons?

The rooms were spacious. Too big though for two people.
