Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe price was very high for an airport hotel, especially given it's a good 10min drive from the airport. Our rate included breakfast but it only starts from 7am so if you have an early flight you'll miss it. You should offer a packed breakfast to takeaway for guests in this situation given the breakfast is included in the price.
The rooms were comfortable and a good size. There is an airport shuttle that you can book for $8 per person and the 24 hour staff were very helpful in arranging this.

South AfricaThe photos show a good breakfast buffet and espresso machine. The reality was instant coffee and a water urn, an apple in place of the varied fruit bowl advertised, and toaster bread instead of any pastries or croissants.
This is a soulless little airport hotel. Buried in an industrial area, which isn’t shown on the hotel photos. Staff were helpful and everything was spotless, but a failure for me in terms of location and a disappointing breakfast.

United StatesWindows inthe room don’t open for fresh air and was very unwalkable- even the 2km to the shops near the airport. And they charge for shuttle service. Not a good fit for me.

AustraliaThe bed was so very hard...like concrete hard, not one bit of give. The outside had dead plants in pots. Not many/ any brochures for things to do in New Zealand/ Auckland, for a first port of call
Very clean room and bathroom looked new. The breakfast that was included was great, so much choice and tasty. We didn't have dinner there but the options looked good for those who couldn't venture out.

AustraliaA lot of noise from room above. A lot of noise from the trucks loading shipping containers next door. A lot of noise from doors slamming around the hotel. The number of guests trying to get breakfast at the same time. The distance to shops. The limited food menu in house.
The room was clean and functional

New ZealandAll 4 pillows were absolutely dreadful. Cheapest possible with the inners all in clumps. Ended up folding a sheet to use as a pillow. It's a newly built hotel but the soft door closers on the hallway door of level two force the doors to slam loudly. They need to be adjusted, im a builder its an easy fix. Between that and the dreadful pillows, I barely got any sleep and I was exhausted after a long work day before an early flight. Until I tried to sleep, I was very happy with the room.
Super friendly and polite staff. Spotlessly clean. Comfy mattress. Lots of TV stations. Easy to use air con.

United StatesThis hotel really needs to improve their eating options. We arrived at the hotel after 1pm starving and promptly found out there were no places to walk to to get a bite or even room service. All the hotel offered was a light dinner menu and it was nothing to write home about. I had the lasagna, which was not very good. My husband had chicken curry which he said was not bad, and it looked pretty good. As for breakfast...that wasn't great. They had one staff member practically running to and fro trying to refill the very small buffet and there was hardly any time for her to clear dishes from the tables. That wouldn't be a problem if there was plenty of seating, but there wasn't. It was a very small dining area. Because food ran out quickly, I took what I could as it came out. The biggest negative to this hotel though was the fact that there was no coffee available at the buffet. YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR DRIP COFFEE!!!!!! They have a coffee menu, all of which you have to pay for. I get paying for a cappuccino or mocha or latte, but for drip coffee?! Ridiculous.
The hotel looks newer, and the lobby comes across as kind of fancy. The rooms were clean and huge, but our room was on the bottom floor and looked directly out at the carpark. The front desk staff was helpful in assisting us with a later checkout (not free, NZD $10 for each hour) and letting the Yellow Bus know we needed a pickup.

AustraliaThe hotel was comfortable but basic. It was overpriced for a basic hotel but as an overnight stay before catching a plane the next morning, it was convenient, comfortable, clean and the staff were helpful.
Breakfast was simple but ample for what I expected. The literature for the hotel suggested the shuttle bus was free but the trip back to the airport cost $8. No big deal but the literature should be consistent.

United KingdomBreakfast was horrible, seemed like chilli was in everything,i dont mind a bit of spice but the amount put into the beans just ruined my taste buds,i made myself a cup of tea only to have bits of congealed milk floating in my cup,i brought this to the attention to the waitress and was rudely told the milk was fresh this morning ignoring the floating evidence in my cup. Some chilled orange juice would have been nice instead of luke warm tropical and cranberry.
