New ZealandIt's a beautiful old building. Staff is very friendly. The bed was comfortable, and the room was warm and clean. It was lovely to see the old hospital, been repurposed and not let to go to ruins. People just need to respect that it was an old hospital and respect the past people that have been through there as well as the present.

Abkhazia, GeorgiaIn a unit with beds for 4 and we had booked for 4 people, there were just 2 towels. We were able to ask for more. There were 3 dining chairs and a small couch. In the kitchen, it was set up for three. We didn't eat there, only had a quick drink and were able to get a fourth cup easily.
Welcoming & helpful owners / staff. Unit as described with separate bedroom & two single beds in lounge area. We only stayed one night, needing a place to rest our heads on the journey to Auckland.

AustraliaThe carpets could do with an upgrade and the linen updated. The towels were frayed and older but for the price of $110 for the night to sleep three it was adequate. The room was quite cramped and difficult to move around, not enough seating for three people.
Within an easy driving distance from the international airport to get out of Auckland. Huntly is a misdiagnosed town that actually has a lot to offer. The manor is on the top of the hill with lovely grounds although a little run down.

New ZealandAll the furniture is in need of an update badly as the beds were very hard, the old pillows were so thin and hard, the couches were extremely uncomfortable and there was mould in the shower. The curtains were very also very old, dirty and dusty and there were clothes and things left under the beds by previous guests.

New ZealandWe have stayed here on several occasions. We like the fact that it is about one hour from Auckland. So when we drive up from Wellington, it is not quite such a long day and then it is only one hour in the morning to complete the trip. Then on the way back, we take an hour off the return drive. We feel it is good value for money and the hosts are very friendly and polite.
