Pods were very stuffy, not good airflow even with the fan.

Best hostel I've been so far in my life. I've been travelling in hostels for the last 10 years and I was so happy with this place. I wished I stayed there longer instead of going to Wellington. Everything's clean, spacious, beds give you intimacy so it's really comfortable to share a room with others. Lockers are big enough for 65L backpacks and more. Honestly, it feels like a real hotel and the little restaurant in the building is very convenient. Will definitely go back there!!

No window in my room, even in the public area. I think the only entrance for fresh air is the front main gate.

This hostel has a lot of great facilities. And, It's clean and chic. The bed is super comfortable. The location is great. I can walk to the most attractions in Auckland.

Not many get together/seating opportunities down in kitchen/reception area. Rooms and common area quite cold

- room was clean - fantastic location, just walking distance to Skycity - internet was fast and still get connection even we already outside the building make me easier when ordering uber - tv with streamcast to Netflix & Yotube - vending machine - interior was nice and modern, it suit for young people

Loved everything about it! - very clean rooms, kitchen and bathrooms - there is everything you need and its very modern It was also perfect for the very first stay in NZ, as its a very sociable hostel and you have privacy in the pods for sleeping of jetlag :)

The pods are spacious, bed comfy enough. Lockers to store valuables inside the room. Accessible; location was superb. The SkyDrive to and from the Airport is just a few minutes walk from LyLo. Groceries, restaurants, bus stops, tourist spots are within walking distance. Staff were very helpful and kind. Clean; they clean the toilet and bathrooms 2x a day. They have a lift.

It's auckland so it's expensive. I wasn't keen on the area.

Our room was way better than I expected, nice size and clean and comfortable. We were on tbe third floor and it was surprisingly very quiet and calm at night so we slept very well.

The only tiny thing I was the biggest fan of, is the location. It is amazing that it is quite close to the CBD but the neighbourhood looked not really nice. But it didn’t matter a lot, since the property itself was even more beautiful in the inside.

It was an extremely modern design with beautiful interior. I felt really comfortable in our double bed room. I loved the opportunity of eating next door in the small restaurant, but unfortunately we did not have the time. We arrived in the middle of the night (3 a.m.), but didn’t have any struggle with check-in.

the only issue was the I was unable to connect my phone to the TV even though I had followed the instructions provided

The bed was so comfortable, I had originally paid for a room with shared bathrooms but ended up with a shower and toilet which made the stay much more enjoyable! Lylo Auckland is in a great location and I will definitely be booking again
