Spare toilet rolls and paper towels in bathroom would be good

Location is central , easy walking to Queen St.Decor is fresh and new . Bathroom was clean. Water pressure in showers was good .Easy to check in . Good room layout , good lockers . Felt safe with card key access to floor, room and locker. Other guests were considerate and quiet.

The kitchen facilities could be cleaner although this is no fault of the staff just from other guests not cleaning up after themselves. Staff could be more friendly.

The pods are very comfortable and nice to have your own space while sharing with others. The bathrooms were very clean and tidy. Nicely decorated and central location. Great to have Miss Lucy's bar/restaurant attached to the hostel.

The kitchen was untidy as most guests didn't make an effort to keep it clean and tidy for other guests. The fridge is shockingly packed and guests don't bother to keep them tidy too.

Good Location and close to city central. The ability to prepare and cook our own food. Staff very friendly and helpful.

was not aware that there are no windows in the room, would have appreciated this being stated clearly not enough power plugs, should have one on the other side of the bed too

Bad points. #I was charged an extra fee without warning. #the bedroom was very hot due the poor ventilation + noise from the wall fan # The staff was not friendly

The rooms were small but comfortable the facilities were good but the kitchen needs to be cleaned more often. Also it wasn't opened on the morning we were leaving despite there being staff present.

No one to help us at reception, no friendly welcome at checkin or checkout. You could leave luggage but there was no one checking if you were actually staying at the hostel - everyone could have walked in and picked up a bag. No event organised on Friday other than a DJ playing.

I unfortunately had a very noisy stay. I had neighbours who were talking loudly into the wee hours of the morning, the walls were thin so I could hear their entire conversation while trying to sleep. I would not recommend this place for anyone wanting to sleep during the day or sensitive to noise, I had recently come off a long haul flight and wanted to take a nap. They play loud music in the hallways here and with the thin walls the music is also loud in the rooms. Even when not trying to sleep I had to play my own music to block it out, it was SO irritating. I found the bathrooms quite dirty, the showers were always covered in hair and there are no shelves in the cubicles to put your belongings on so I had to put my stuff on the wet, hairy floor. I would probably book a room with a private bathroom if I stayed here again.

Nice modern place with a great aesthetic. Convenient location especially to the airport bus (which is why I chose this place). Check in and out is super easy, all digital with no need to interact with anyone. I had a private room with shared bathroom, the room was basic but all I needed, and a comfortable bed.

My duvet cover has a stain on it. Don't think they had changed it after the last person checked out.

The rooms & beddings are clean. Very quiet on the sleeping floors. People tend to respect the place. No wild partying at night etc..The kitchen on lvl 1 and Lucy bar are fabulous.

Housekeeping wasn't great - it would take a day or two for soap to be refilled + toilets unclogged in the bathroom. I don't think the kitchen was ever fully cleaned, + there were never enough tea towels or forks. I'm also fairly certain the staff lost my mail.

Locations is great; beds are very private + come with large lockers, lockable with your room key. Common spaces are very comfy.

The room had no window and really needed an extra place to set your bag other than on the bed. some creativity could have been added to the room to make it more welcoming. The showers were great but also missing a shelf.

The lobby, bar and communal facilities were some of the best I have seen. It is bery esthetic, large and has a feeling of freshness and variety of people. a welcoming place for a flashpacker, not a grungy party hub but offers plenty of socializing for any age or situation. The air is filtered throughout the hospital so it felt fresh and smelled clean.

No windows in the rooms and no small night light or anything just pitch black when you turned off the light. We had to leave the bright bathroom light on all night. It made it very hard to sleep.

No cleaning service for 7 days, no changing of towels. No window in the room, felt a bit claustrophobic and missing out on natural light and fresh air (Had to use air conditioning/fan all the time). Kitchen area is way too small for such a large hostel, I wasn't comfortable using it, too crowded basically at any period of the day.

there was no complimentary tea or coffee for the customers. I mean you charged me $60 for a pod, you should be able to provide some tea/ instant coffee in the communal area. This little bit will go a long way

Minimalistic rooms (no window, no shelves or wardrobe, no tea making facility in private room). If I pay that much for it, I feel I should be given small shampoo tubes & tea/ kettle. Fixed mirror in room makes me uneasy. Is there a camera behind?) Also, there should be an alarm which controls the room light so the room gets gradually lighter as it nears sunrise time. The sound proofing wasnt too great.

The bathroom fan which you can't turn off was howling the whole night which kept me awake for very long. I probably wouldn't stay just because of that
