Replacing one tub chair with a higher-backed chair would be nice. Then one could snooze in the living area.

Quiet location yet close to town and the Village Inn for evening meals. Chats over breakfast. John offering walking tours. Cosy throws in the lounge area.

Located on side street in quiet location, 5 minutes walk into town through an open park. There was easy access from the road and a large parking space for my car 15 metres from the front door. I had my own large bathroom, bedroom and lounge, the latter 2 with a lovely garden view. Hot breakfast supplied as part of price, very accommodating and friendly hosts, full of good advice, a very nice venue for a break

This cosy space was delightful in every way. Everything was perfect. We were made to feel very welcome as John greeted us and showed us to our room. Bed had gorgeous linen and was very comfy. Lots of little extra touches like dressing gowns and slippers. Wifi worked well. Garden was beautiful and peaceful and had outdoor furniture. Parking was easy. It was a quick walk from the centre of town, via a park and walk bridge. Breakfast was served in main part of house and Sue made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Sue and John were lovely company and knew lots about their area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Nothing was bad, but I think it would be better to have a small lounge with maybe a pull bed in the lounge would be more comfortable than then chairs

The breakfast was delicious. I especially liked that the sprays, hand, body wash were all in refillable containers and they used Smart Ass toilet tissue. All good for the environment! Shows thoughtfulness. Knee rugs and outside sitting place looking over lovely garden all made for a beautiful experience.

Probably the TV was the problem. We had hoped to read and veg in front of the TV but it was a mission to bring up normal programs and most importantly the news. One evening we were successful, the next day the same navigation process through the channels didn't work. Caused a bit of stress. We gave up in the end. Netflicks is available but didn't interest us.

Beautiful welcoming couple who were a delight in every way. Very kind and helpful. Just delightful to have met Sue and John and exchange life experiences with them.

It is not often that i can say i thoroughly enjoyed staying some where but in this instance i can. The owners made me feel very welcome and their breakfasts were fabulous. Everything was incredibly clean, extremely comfortable, warm and a real pleasure to stay in. I can happily recommend Oldfields to anyone and i look forward to staying there again in the future.

The lounge room was a little cramped.

Very quiet location with beautiful garden outlook. We had a choice of breakfast between full cooked or variations of Continental. Our choice was excellent snd included sparkling conversation with the host and hostess.

Wonderful location, walking to town, and parking right at the property. Sue and John are wonderful folks who made us feel welcomed and shared a lot about a variety of issues. The breakfast was outstanding...we also went out for Indian food for one night and that was perfect! Would recommend this accommodation highly...great people.

I’m afraid the breakfast was poor.. some sausages, fried tomato and some mushrooms would have made it so much more enjoyable also some some fresh fruit and some danish pastries would have been nice .

Location was perfect in relation to the town and was hidden from the road in its own little oasis !
